The only noteworthy part of the experience was that the service department rep I worked with was friendly. He, however, was not timely nor easy to get ahold of throughout the experience and was only modera service department rep I worked with was friendly. I have been a customer for many years. I have always appreciated John Endisch and his friendly help. Recently I brought in my 2012 Prius V for a problem with the steering wheel. After I have always appreciated John Endisch and his friendly help. Recently I brought in my 2012 Prius V for a problem with the steering wheel. After technicians looked over the car, I was given a quote of $3,000 to fix the problem. I am a retired senior citizen, and I decided to get a second opinion. The work was taken care of by a car repair place in the Milwaukee area, a place that has been in business for many years. The charge to fix the problem was about $900.00. Genuine Toyota parts were not used, but I was given a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty for the repair. I don't understand the very substantial difference in price. I have always been pleased with my experiences at the Andrew Toyota service department, but this experience has made me consider whether I should return there for service in the future. Can I receive an explanation of the difference in price? I would appreciate hearing about this. Thank you! More
