Great service, fair negotiating and a great family owned feel you don't get in the DC area. My first experience with buying a car was amazing even though I was very uneasy about the whole process. Jeremiah was very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. After test driving the 2012 Ford Focus and listening to what it had to offer, I decided to sit down and discuss logistics. Once he told me I would get a FREE Christmas tree with my purchase, it was a done deal! I had a 2008 Ford Edge (base model) that I absolutely loved but was ready to have more of the bells and whistles. I started out by getting a pre-approved loan through USAA and the USAA price. Then there were 3 dealerships that were competing to get me the best price on the new vehicle and on my trade-in. No matter what other dealers offered, Mark at Ron Bortnick, offered me more for my trade-in and a better price on the new vehicle. Then to top it all off the vehicle that I wanted was being sent to a Virginia dealership. As soon as it came off the truck in Virginia the Mark had was sending people out to bring it to Maryland. They drove it back wrapped in plastic. I am now the proud owner of a 2011 Ford Edge Sport. I have purchased at least 10 new vehicles from different dealerships and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. And I love that I splurged for the service package because now I have a reason to go back every 5,000 miles to say hello. If you want a great deal with great service I recommend going to Ron Bortnick Ford. More

This was my first car purchase EVER and it was very stressful when trying to get the right price for the right vehicle from the right dealership. I had gone to several dealerships, spoken to multiple people and gotten multiple quotes but by far Ron Bortnick Ford was able to not only offer the best deal but was more focused on accomodating my needs than their own. I had a strict list of things I wanted on my new car and they were able to search and find exactly what I wanted. Finally they related to my financial situation and modified things to create what would work for me. I was very satisfied with their customer service and so far with their product as well. I am now happily cruising around in my 2012 Mustang! (: More

While I am still very pleased with the automobile I bought from Ron Bortnick, I was disappointed with the service appointment I had today. The oil change was free, which surprised me, and I was ha bought from Ron Bortnick, I was disappointed with the service appointment I had today. The oil change was free, which surprised me, and I was happy with that. However, there was another aspect that was disappointing, and may well cause me not to have my car serviced there anymore. When I bought the car, I obviously took it for a test drive. On this test drive, I heard a bit of grinding in the brakes. Upon returning the car to the lot, I advised my salesman of this. He informed me that it was probably just rust from the car sitting on the lot, and should wear off. If it doesn't, bring it back and we'll take care of it. I signed the papers and off I went. I bought the car at the very end of May. Over the course of the summer, the brakes continued to grind. At the first opportunity, today, I made a service appointment to have the car's oil changed and the brakes looked at. The service person at the front desk was very friendly, but informed me because I had not brought the car back sooner, they would not be able to take care of the brake issue. How disappointing! I was never given a timetable as to when it had to be back to be looked at - just that if I brought it back and the brakes were still grinding, they would take care of it. Let me reiterate, though, that aside from this instance, every interaction I have had with the people at Ron Bortnick Ford has been pleasant and professional. I don't feel they kept their word here, though, and that is disappointing. More
