Disappointed I’ve purchased several cars in my life. All with a co-signer. I finally was able to get a car all by myself. I spent 4.5 hours at Vandergriff Honda ne I’ve purchased several cars in my life. All with a co-signer. I finally was able to get a car all by myself. I spent 4.5 hours at Vandergriff Honda negotiating the price of a Pre-Owned CR-V. I finally got the price I wanted for my trade in, and the monthly payment I was comfortable with. I walked away with an amazing vehicle! 4 days later I receive a call from Vandergriff. They had forgotten to add sales tax to my loan. I could either pay them $800 or add to my monthly payment. I had worked hard for that payment. So I had to give the vehicle back. For their mistake. Barely any apologies were given, nothing for my troubles, just the keys to my old car. I have purchased several cars from Vandergriff. That will never happen again. I want to do business with a company that values me as a customer and will take credit for their own mistakes and make them right. I am so incredibly disappointed. More

Shop before purchasing here. Unbelievably poor experience with this store. Buyer beware! We ended up going to Hiley Subaru and found a great car with no games. Looked at a 23,000 + msrp with over $7,000 of dealer addons. They offered half of what Hiley did for the trade. Also was told that if we financed we could save $2500, if not, “cash isn’t king here”. Poor inventory selection also. Salesperson was nice, process was unbelievable. No transparency here. If you are considering a Honda, look elsewhere. If you are looking not to be mistreated, run from this place. Also, Vandergriff is present in name only, This is owned by a Berkshire Hathaway now, obviously Warren isn’t paying too much attention to this division. If you don’t believe me, go visit them! More
