I do feel like Vandergiff Hyundai was straightforward and relatively honest, again relative to other new-car dealerships. I have a hard time with new-car dealerships in general because I know they influence state governments with the tax revenues they generate, they have their hidden hold-backs they make money on, and they add all their dealer add-ons and fees to wring every cent from you, yet they act like they are barely making enough profit to stay in business. Just be openly honest and you'll gain more respect and trust. We know you're in business to make money. The is nothing altruistic about selling cars. Just stop the gamesmanship, tell us what you paid for the car and how much you're making off of us and we'll appreciate the honesty and maybe feel better about the experience. More
