One word to sum up my experience at Vanguard Kia- Shady. From my sales associate to the used car manager, everything was difficult and convoluted. No integrity or moral compass to be found. I purchased an From my sales associate to the used car manager, everything was difficult and convoluted. No integrity or moral compass to be found. I purchased an $80k corvette from them (I know, I should have know better) and the experience could not have been worse. After the deal was originally signed and completed, it took them two days to deliver my vehicle. Upon delivery at 9pm, I noticed several scratches that were not on the vehicle when I purchased it. The sales associate assured me everything would be repaired to the original state. After attempting to contact the associate for four days without success, I escalated the situation to the used car manager, Clinton. He apologized for the situation and assured me everything would be handled by him moving forward. After two weeks trying to get my vehicle repaired, they put me in a loaner vehicle and took my vehicle. Prior to doing this, I wanted to ensure nothing would be reported to the carfax to which Clinton replied "you have my word- nothing will go on the carfax." Upon taking delivery of the vehicle, everything looked to be done correctly and I departed the dealership. Nearly one year later, I was looking at trading in said vehicle when I was notified that there was damage reported to the carfax. To my surprise, the date of reported damage was during the time they had my vehicle for repair. Frustrated, I went to vanguard kia to see what had happened and what could be done to remedy the issue. I brought all my documentation and text proof from Clinton. Lo and behold, Clinton no longer was employed by this company. I asked to speak to the new (used) sales manager or GM and I was given a sale associated that was "on the way to being a manager." This conversation was a complete waste of time. The new (used) sales manager decided to grace us with his presence and proceeds to tell me this melodramatic story about how he purchased a vehicle in a boarder town and the owner prior decided to partake in some insurance fraud by claiming an incident after the car had been sold. Completely trying to insinuate that this was clearly the prior owner that did this and not vanguard. What he did not know is the carfax was able to confirm that this report was in-fact from vanguard kia. He told me that their insurance deductibles were $3k and it wouldn't have been from them. Then proceeded to "help me get out of the situation" by upselling me on a new GMC from their sister store. I left the dealership discouraged and angry. Legal representation has been retained. In closing, please do yourself a favor, stay away from this dealership! More

Monday I took it in to get a driver's side head lamp replaced. The mechanic didn't have one on hand so we went the parts desk only to find out they didn't have one in stocks and they'd have to order one. So I said okay, order one. I also decided to get my key replaced only to find out that they still didn't have that shank in stocks either!! Sorry Vanguard but wer'e not giving you our business!!
