Vann York Auto Group is a leader not only in business but in community involvement in High Point. The work done on behalf of the United Way exemplifies this leadership. As longtime participants in the campaign, Vann York Auto Group sought to increase its involvement. Starting in 2002, they have donated a car to each annual campaign. Local High Point workers who contribute to the United Way have a chance to win the car during a final event at a Vann York dealership. The United Way has recognized this commitment, awarding the Yorks the Tocqueville Society Award, the Chairman's Award for Campaign Excellence, and the Eagle Award for Campaign Excellence.

Fell off face of earth after hard inquiry on my credit This dealership called and emailed me incessantly for 2-3 days until I finally allowed them to do a hard inquiry on my credit, which I'd asked them to This dealership called and emailed me incessantly for 2-3 days until I finally allowed them to do a hard inquiry on my credit, which I'd asked them to avoid and they had told me they could avoid when I first started talking with them about a used car. They know I'm 3 weeks away from giving birth and needed to trade in my small car for an SUV. Then they had the nerve to ask my husband over the phone if he could sign onto the credit app with me to lower the rate after I'd specifically told them I was trying to surprise him with the car purchase and not to involve him. I emailed them the day after my credit was checked and never got any response. Luckily for me, I got in touch with a much better dealership in the meantime, and started the process on another vehicle, which in less than 48 hours I had sitting in my driveway, from initial contact to driving the car home. I still haven't heard a word out of this dealership since the day they checked my credit and took it upon themselves to go behind my back and ask my husband about it. Needless to say, my experience with them was overall highly annoying and invasive. Not to mention a waste of a credit check. I would never deal with them again in the future. More

I had visited other Cadillac dealers but found Van York to be a welcome surprise in comparison. Their pricing was very competitive for both the Cadillac we wanted and our trade-in and Kenneth was very accommodating to our time when we visited. We were able to review and agree on the specifics of our car, pricing and he was able to find a car in the area that met all we desired in less than an hour. When we came in to pick up the car, complete the paperwork and were given a review of all the workings of the vehicle, it all took less than 2 hours, much of that time devoted to ensuring he answered any questions on its operation. Nothing special about this place I have purchased several vechiles from other Vann York dealerships and had great experiences. I cannot say Vann York GMC did a single thing to go out I have purchased several vechiles from other Vann York dealerships and had great experiences. I cannot say Vann York GMC did a single thing to go out of the way to help me. They actually were going to delay me a day for picking up my vechile because the finance guy left early. The price was the same I could have gotten at any other dealership. I see why they hounded me to visit. Nobody should go out of thier way to visit this place. More
