Schedule appointment, was able to get in quick. Was told it would be done in one day and was able to pick up at the end of the day. Everything went as planned.. Was told it would be done in one day and was able to pick up at the end of the day. Everything went as planned.. More
I requested an appointment 11 days prior to my appointment date. I never heard from anyone but assumed my appointment was kept. I arrived and the man helping me explained that the online system ju appointment date. I never heard from anyone but assumed my appointment was kept. I arrived and the man helping me explained that the online system just requests an appointment, and it is not an actual appointment. He said they could work me in anyways which was great. However, I feel a little taken advantage of. The price I was charged for the service I received was very outrageous. I came in to have my tire pressure sensors looked at. I assumed it was probably just one that was out, but the man told me I should just do all 4 so I don’t have to come back in in a few months. I asked if they could just check which ones are out, and he again said I should just do all 4. He told me the price for one sensor was $111, $50 for the installation(of each one, so $200 for all 4) and $45 for tax. For all 4, it was over $600….i have no knowledge of vehicles and I felt pressured to replace all 4. My husband found the exact tire pressure sensors online by OEM, and they were $112 for a 4 pack. I honestly will not ever come back here for a service or part replacement. I expressed my concerns about the price when I came to pick up the car and he basically told me that this is the price and that’s that. So I felt like I had no other choice but to pay this. I left feeling very uneasy and like I was just taken advantage of. It’s so unfortunate because I try to so hard to support local shops but I just can’t get behind this one. I’d maybe suggest you train your employees to treat customers as they would treat their family members. I guarantee if I was someone’s wife or sister, they would have just checked for the sensor that was out, and replaced that one. More

The only comment I have is the incredibly high cost of this service. I did not bring the car in for a particular reason other than just a general service to be done on a four and a half year old vehicle this service. I did not bring the car in for a particular reason other than just a general service to be done on a four and a half year old vehicle with only 16,700 miles. I walked out with almost an $1100.00 bill. In my mind that was exorbitant and that is a concern of mine. I have to decide if it is worth driving to Petaluma from Santa Rosa for general maintenance or should I go locally to just a small private mechanic who uses GM parts. More
I just have to share this so Sonoma County is aware of this dealership. We are retired and didn’t have the 35,000 to fix her. Had to use credit cards. So, here is my experience of Victory Chevrolet in Pet this dealership. We are retired and didn’t have the 35,000 to fix her. Had to use credit cards. So, here is my experience of Victory Chevrolet in Petaluma. I bought a 2011 Dodge Ram 3500 turbo diesel mega cab from Victory Chevrolet of Petaluma for 35,000 dollars and only 117,000 miles on a Diesel engine. Salesmen said they went through it too to bottom and it was in perfect shape. Even gave me a printout of service history and inspection- though it took over an hour to print something that takes minutes. The car promptly broke down in the 1st 30 days and they refused to do anything. “ bought as is” went through all levels of management with same answer. Very nice, but no help. Had it towed to top shop in Sonoma county. 35,000 dollars later, she runs great. Shop took pictures of everything and I gave the receipts to Victory along with pictures and a letter from shop stating they couldn’t have missed the problems if they did the inspection they said they did. They still refused to help. I can say with confidence that either their mechanics are incompetent or they knew about the issues and said nothing. They also cleared the entire code history from computer which the shop stated is Never Done! They rely on that history to troubleshoot problems. One part that they couldn’t miss was 2500 dollars and the code was on when I left the dealer. They said, it is just the gas cap. But, diesels don’t have that problem! I didn’t know that being this was 1st diesel. I will never use them again! I will let you form your own opinion based on the facts that I have in writing. I even asked them to fix the obvious problems and they said no. The head guy ran the same game. So nice and yet said, “ Sorry, too much time has passed. “ that was because I had to go through 4 other people to get to him! I have never felt so ripped off in my life! More
