I had scheduled to have my CRV 2024 fixed as the base side of the passenger was loose and broke. It came like that when I bought the car in august 2025. The service manager Oz I believe his name stand side of the passenger was loose and broke. It came like that when I bought the car in august 2025. The service manager Oz I believe his name stands for Osvaldo was nice and seemed helpful at the time. Service rep Oz stated that they did not have the part and he would email corporate Honda to see if the warranty which is up to 35k miles would cover this. He also mentioned let’s see if they get back to us before the warranty expired. I thought that was an odd comment to make. All of this took place in Oct 18 2025. I would call the service desk every week and follow up with Oz to see if he has heard back from Honda Corporate, and he would always say no he has not heard back from corporate yet. So by this time a month had passed I was frustrated and wondering why it was taking to long. So I decided to call Honda Corporate Warranty department. And to my surprise Oz never sent an email to open a claim to have my car fixed . What a disappointment this was, to be lied too.Not sure what corners he was trying to cut or how he would benefit from not submitting a claim. When I spoke with corporate they opened a new ticket for my complaint and recommended I call back the dealership and ask to speak with the Service manager. So I then called the dealership and spoke with I believe it was Jose, he listened to my concerns and frustration. He right away stated that he would order the part. In less than two days the part was in. I took my car in to get fixed. Just be careful when someone states they will file a claim with Honda Corporation or your extended warranty plan and they don’t. I hope Oz was reprimanded and if he was not he needs to be more honest and have better work ethics. More
