Huge difference! After emailing with sales reps from a Longmont Dodge dealership and setting up a test drive of a specific car, I drove 800mi to drive it and basically After emailing with sales reps from a Longmont Dodge dealership and setting up a test drive of a specific car, I drove 800mi to drive it and basically write a check for it. The last email from the dealer confirming this test drive was the day before at 3:49pm. So I drove to beautiful Colorado. I arrived at the dealership before noon when my test drive was scheduled for2:45. When the brought it around it wasn't the right car. I was told it was sold but this one was "much nicer!" Well yes, it probably was but it was also $3,000 more. After multiple times trying to come to a price agreement during which time I was told to "get drivin," when I tried to explain I could pay that price for it where I drove from. I got up and started to leave and of course was talked out of leaving. Needless to say they didn't see it my way. When I was leaving the sales man actually had the intestinal fortitutide to come out, as I was already off property, and say, "can't you give me a little more? You'll never find a nicer one!" Honestly I felt like Clark Grizwold and his Meallic Pee Family Truckster. I found another just down the road where they salesmen were not pressuring and actually nice! Chance did us right and we have a great car for a great price with great service!!! More
