I took my 2011 Tribeca in with a check engine light indicating there was something wrong with the transmission. It was slipping into gear about 1 out of 5 times when I stopped. $2000 plus dollars later indicating there was something wrong with the transmission. It was slipping into gear about 1 out of 5 times when I stopped. $2000 plus dollars later for not 1 replacement but a second replacement of the “brain” to my transmission my car is still slipping into gear, maybe worse than before I took it in the first time. I was told another $300 plus dollar part should fix the problem. I don’t feel I can trust this service department to diagnose the problem. It appears they misdiagnosed the problem in the first place. My car has 84,484 mikes on it. It looks and performed like a brand new car except for a few dings in the sides from careless people hitting it when they open their car doors. Until now I have never had a problem. I maintain my Tribeca as Subaru recommends. I am new to this area and feel I have been chosen the wrong company to service my car. The car should never have been returned to me in this condition. It is dangerous to drive. I can’t pull out onto a street without fearing the car will lurch and take seconds to slip into gear and someone will hit me. Or that it will stall after stopping and I’ll get rear ended as drivers behind me are expecting my car to move when they see I have released the brake. More

I got there for a scheduled oil change at 10:30 am and left at 1:30pm. That was entirely too long I could go anywhere else and get it done in 15 mins. I work during the week so I can only come in on the w left at 1:30pm. That was entirely too long I could go anywhere else and get it done in 15 mins.
