@Mike Barse: No, I will not accept your apology and here's why. Had it not been for this review or the others I've posted on yelp, google reviews, Edmunds, BBB, and Cars.com (there might be more I'm not sure), I don't believe you would have ever reached out to me. The fact that nearly a week has gone by since this happened speaks volumes about how you run things, how Vann operates, and how little regard Vann has for customers. I'm not sure if the situation was relayed to you, but I left extremely angry and the 2 sales guys I was working with absolutely knew it. If they didn't bring that to your attention IMMEDIATELY, that's a huge problem and is a reflection on you--if I was a GM, I'd demand to know things like that that go on in my store. If they did inform you, you chose to ignore the problem and did not contact me right away to confront the issue. Lastly, you definitely heard from Jeep on the matter because the Jeep representative I spoke with last week told me she spoke with you and you told her you'd be reaching out to me. You will not have an opportunity to redeem yourselves. I've already purchased from one of your competitors.

Though an old fashioned conversation is usually more effective than online rants I suppose you're entitled to deny me that opportunity. Mike you had at least 5 days for an old fashioned conversation and didn’t take the opportunity to reach out to me. That is where you are falling short in running the store effectively. Rants? Hardly. I stated exactly what happened and it took these so-called “rants” to get your attention. And the only reason you responded so promptly is because you realize this can hurt your business. Did you know I called the dealership Thursday to speak with you? Probably not. I was told you were in a meeting. I then called back to address the situation with Dianne. Perhaps, instead of hanging up on me—twice—the better action she could have taken is to have me speak with you.

Again, it’s not my job as the customer to seek you out. You should have showed some initiative on the matter. And to remind you again, the Jeep representative informed me you knew about the matter and your answer to her that she relayed to me was that you would contact me. So you can keep pretending to be in the dark on this. It pairs well with the lying that goes on amongst your employees.

My grasp is tight. Next time you intend to make such unrealistic demands of people perhaps you should have a hostage or two. By the way, several customers come to every dealership everyday to shop cars and leave in the same one they came in. It may seem crazy to you that they don’t find it to be a capitol offense perpetrated upon them but it’s true.

The demand wasn’t unrealistic. I was clear in my explanation of what I wanted and what my budget was. YOUR OWN EMPLOYEE came back and said “it’s doable”. If it was so unrealistic she should have been upfront and truthful and told me so; and not use deception to get me in the door. You’re just coming off like a clown now. Good luck responding to all the other reviews I left.

Yes I did tell her I was open to new and used. I conveyed that to her when I initially spoke with her. I’m not sure where the accusation of me lying exactly comes into play though. I was providing the most options for you to accommodate my price, to which you said it was doable. Thanks for the professional response back. I’ll surely be forwarding the screen shots along to Jeep so they’re aware of the people representing their brand.
