Purchased a RAM 2500 2 months ago, check engine light came on. Called the service department and they advised I would have to leave the vehicle for 3 to 4 days to run diagnostics. When I asked why don't came on. Called the service department and they advised I would have to leave the vehicle for 3 to 4 days to run diagnostics. When I asked why don't they make appointments they had no answer, you have to drop the vehicle and they work on it when they get to it and currently running 3 days behind, your vehicle sets. I can see how this is good for them, but at the expense of the customer. Plus they want to charge $186 to run diags on a new vehicle purchased from them 2 months ago. If you intend to purchase a vehicle be sure to inquire about service times. And they will not offer loaners while your sets waiting to be looked at, and that's just to do the diagnostics who knows how long it takes for repairs. Best advise, take the drive purchase and service somewhere besides Las Cruces especially Viva More

Absolutely Terrible. $186.00 just to have them look at my truck. Had a local glass company install an OEM windshield due to a rock break on the highway. The rain senso $186.00 just to have them look at my truck. Had a local glass company install an OEM windshield due to a rock break on the highway. The rain sensors then no longer worked after the installation. I had taken it back to the local glass company and they would not even ackowledge the non working sensors and said it must be an issue with my truck, so I elected to take it to the dealership. After having the truck for 6 hours, and me trying to call and talk to a human 3 times for status, their solution was for me to pay another $1500, on top of the $186, to get a new OEM windshield and have it installed and "Programmed"! Please keep in mind that the windshield installed on the vehicle was in fact an OEM RAM windshield, displaying the bar code label and RAM insignia actually on the Windshield!!! I decided to try and find a professional, since I clearly could not rely on people in Las Cruces, and especially the dealership. I took the truck this morning to Low Price Auto Glass in El Paso, with whom I have had extremely positive experiences in the past with windshield replacements. The guy there was Outstanding!!! 15 minutes, he had my rain sensing wipers working as they should. He simply pulled off the sensor, wiped it clean, and bingo!. Viva Dodge is a rip off. When the dealer trys to rip their customers off like this, assuming we are stupid, it leaves a really sour taste in my mouth, and then to have to pay them $186 for absolutely nothing....... that is BS. My guess is this is their plan to pay for that new renovation to the facility. More
If I could give negative stars I would. Worst place to go for service and the service department has horrible customer service skills. What should have been a 6-8 hour job has been a 3 mont Worst place to go for service and the service department has horrible customer service skills. What should have been a 6-8 hour job has been a 3 month long project with absolutely no updates from the service advisor. Truck will be now going to Dick Poe Dodge or Sunland Park Dodge. It's worth the drive to not have to deal with Viva Dodge or their employees anymore More

This dealership service department is the WORST! ! They never call to update on service being provided, and you are left calling them. Often having to leave messages thatare not returned. My vehicle ! They never call to update on service being provided, and you are left calling them. Often having to leave messages thatare not returned. My vehicle was in four times in for weeks unable to fix the issue. The fourth time, after having my vehicle for a week, I had to go in to find out what was going on with my car. I was told it needed critical parts that would not be available for four more weeks. When asked about a loaner car they said they no longer provided that service. Asking about expediting the parts, they said their " hands were tied" and they " have done all they could do". I was told if I could find another dealership that had the parts I could take my car to them, but recomended I not drive the car. They provided me a customer service hot line I could call to try and have the parts expeditied. So after almost three weeks of my vehicle sitting in their lot I learned parts were delivered. They never called to let me know. I then called them and was told they are working on it and would call me back with an eta on when the work would be done and Icould get my car back. Never got a call back so had to call them again the next day to get information on when I could get my car. The saga continues ... i would strongly recommend not doong any business with the Viva Dodge Auto group either in Las Cruces or El Paso. Had the same poor experience at the El Paso location! If I could rate them with zero stars I would. More
