I was buying a new car today from Tony. The day started off great. Heck he even kicked around the idea of delivering it to me. The plan was to finance it today and pick it up Saturday. I was expecting to get closing docs sent docusign or whatever service they use. Then this afternoon Tony text me that they decided to sell it to someone else that’s going to be there in an hour. What? Wait, you have already pulled my credit and my wife’s credit. I tried calling the sales manager and had to leave a message—no call back. Tried calling the GM Glen McGuire—no call back. I tried calling Tony multiple times—doesn’t have the decency to answer. How in the world does this place get 4.5 stars when they have no boundaries and not enough nerve to talk to me. More
I was treated as if the paperwork I signed was non of my business. I’ve repeatedly asked for copies of the docs I signed, but have received only one with excuses of the others as if there’s something to hid business. I called in on a Monday to set my appointment for my Atlas warranty service work. Seeing how they close by 6pm daily, I elected to go with a 10:30am Saturday 3/4/23 appointment. As I booked my appointme Atlas warranty service work. Seeing how they close by 6pm daily, I elected to go with a 10:30am Saturday 3/4/23 appointment. As I booked my appointment I was VERY VERY clear that I needed a loaner car big enough for 6 adults (aka Atlas). No problem, I was told. I just needed to tell Rolando my advisor and he would work everything out on Saturday when I arrive. Nah! Mr Rolando asked me if I made my appointment online or called it in. I told him that I called it in and how he was to have the details worked out. “I have an electric vehicle that I can give you” he says. Really? Can you imagine 6 adults in a 3 seater? “I just dont have anything else” he said. As I stood there listening to his “noise”, I overhear another customer with the same issue only he was told that he should have called in instead of booking his online, eventho he was clear in the notes section that he need a vehicle also. As I stood there Mr. Rolando asked if I could step aside so he could check another customer out. Again really? I asked for a service Mgr. None available. I asked for the dealership general Mgr. Not in yet. So I decided that my business was not of any value to Brandon VW so I walked out to get in my Atlas. As I was exiting Mr. Rolando tells me that if anything opens up and a vehicle big enough comes available, he would call me. Really? I had a 10:30am appointment. I left and 15 min later then called the dealership via telephone and asked for the general Mgr. Mr. Tai (I think it was) answered and as I told him my experience, he told me to “hang on a minute”. Immediately the line went dead and an prompt asked me to put in an extension number or press *8. At that point I lost communication and felt like I was of no value agin to this dealership. Within 5 minutes Mr Rolando called me with a Tiguan. Now this Tiguan was sitting there 45 min ago when I first walked in and was offered that electric vehicle, besides Mr Rolando knew full well that 6 grown adults would not fit,” 45 min ago. Am I stupid or does this dealership just not care? At about 3:30 that afternoon I got another call from Rolando. Now he has a car, Atlas. A major inconvenience and a waste of my time. I went here with high ratings form my son and others. But my experience was a whole nothinburger! More
Josh was so patient and helpful through-out my car buying experience. Josh worked with me through the negotiation process until I was comfortable with the terms.
