I have many years of experience buying cars but I gotta tell you, VW of Olympia has in my opinion found the template for honest and caring sales repre I have many years of experience buying cars but I gotta tell you, VW of Olympia has in my opinion found the template for honest and caring sales representatives. From the get go there was no question as to what kind of person I was working with, I truly value honesty and sincerity in the people I deal with. I was taken back by the straightforward answers...precise, direct, and knowledgeable. Via telephone and email…all my questions were answered promptly. This experience was different, I’m always on guard with sales representative…I am pleasantly shocked, just fantastic. The best part is that I dealt with one person the whole way through until I had to go see finance. Not sure what your onboarding and or training programs are for your employees but the two I dealt with were just simply a true representation of honest and caring people…they should be recognized, they represent Volkswagen and its values in the ought most professional way. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, I have become a customer for life. More

Great experance! Normally do not write reviews however after the experience I had with Volkswagen of Olympia I had to let everybody know. My wife and I were recently i Normally do not write reviews however after the experience I had with Volkswagen of Olympia I had to let everybody know. My wife and I were recently in the market for a safe vehicle, our son who recently turned 16. Of course our son has been looking for months and months at different vehicles that he would like. He looked at everything from Toyotas to Bentleys and obviously he was not going to be getting the latter. Finally one night we were looking on Volkswagen of Olympia's website and came across some amazing deals on some new Jettas. We wanted to get more information so we requested that someone get in touch with us. We were very surprised to get a phone call within 10 minutes and it was 8 o'clock at night. The lady who talked to us was very helpful gave us all the information you could ever want on a Jetta she even gave us their best price which quite frankly shocked me I was always under the impression that car dealerships won't give you prices over the phone but not them. She even talked about their low price guarantee and that should I find a lower price somewhere else even though she stated that was highly unlikely they would find a way to match it, to earn our business. So we scheduled appointment for the next day to meet with a salesperson to go on a test drive. We showed up the next day and they had the car right out front with a tag in the rear-view with my son's name on it needless to say that made him very happy. We took it for a test drive and were amazed with the handling and the acceleration of the car. We went up Highway 101 where there is some hills and corners and it handled like a dream. We got back to the dealership I asked the salesman if the price that I was given over the phone was indeed what the price was going to be and he said of course. I told the salesman that we would like to think about it over dinner he said no problem shook our hand and told us he is looking forward to earning our business and to give him a call if we had any questions. At dinner we talked about it and decided it was a great deal and would make a wonderful first car for our son. Called up the salesman and asked him to get ready so we could just come in and sign paperwork. When we arrived back at the dealership the car was again right out front and this time it had a bow on it almost like it was a present, I thought that was a nice touch being my son's first car in all it definitely made him very happy. We went in and they immediately took us into the finance office where they had everything ready for us we sat down and they proceeded to walk us through the paperwork. The finance guy was very informative he offered us an extended warranty on the vehicle which I normally don't buy but after he explained everything that it covers we ended up buying it. He also offered us a product that they put on the car that protects it from scratches and dings which I not only bought for my son's first car I also ended up buying it for the other cars that we own (didn't expect that). Though process from start to finish in the finance department took around 20 minutes which I thought was extremely fast and we very much appreciated as we still had to drive 30 minutes to get home. All in all it was a great experience from the initial contact we had with the Internet department all the way to the end where we actually bought the car. There was absolutely no pressure they were very knowledgeable and educated people that we were talking to that answered all of our questions, it was just a great buying experience. Thank you to the Volkswagen of Olympia team, you guys have definitely perfected selling cars. I will be recommending you to everyone I know that is in the market for a vehicle. More

While I'm happy with the car itself, the process of buying it fro Recently visited this location to purchase a new 2015 Volkswagen Jetta. Never again. While I'm happy with the car itself, the process of buying it from Volkswagen of Olympia was a complete joke. To start, before even setting foot at this dealership, I was shopping around for good rates and deals on a new VW. This location advised me I was already qualified on a car based off what I was wanting to put down as well as my intended monthly payments. I should have known better and assumed it was a game, because that's exactly what it was. I make the trip down from Bremerton (a bit of a drive) with my sick fiancée because we assume everything will go smoothly. We arrive on location and wait for about twenty minutes to half an hour for our salesman to meet us. He and I go on a test drive while my fiancée waits and rests at the dealership, and because I liked the car I want to go ahead with the sale. This is where the headache begins. I'm told that due to my credit (that was already subject to a check before we even arrive, which was the score they used to tell me I qualified) was not good enough. They basically interrogate me on my history before trying to "make the deal work". We wait for four hours in addition to the two hours it took to drive down for this deal to "work out", and in this time I'm told that my initial offer wasn't good enough for the banks. I could either go with an older model they had out on the lot or pay even more for the model I was told I was qualified for. At this point my fiancée and I wanted to walk out, but I made the decision to offer $250 more down at higher monthly payments because it would have been a huge waste of my time at this point to leave empty handed. This was good enough for them and they finalize the paperwork. By this point both my fiancée and I were frustrated and tired and just wanted to get home to allow her to rest. To add insult to this whole process, they essentially threatened me to agree to an extended warranty which would have made my monthly payments around $649. I declined, and was made to sign a waiver with the essential message of, "Don't cry to us when your car breaks down after the Volkswagen warranty that comes with the car expires." We finally leave with the new car, and you would think everything gets better from here, but it doesn't. A few days later I take a survey for the service, and I answer as frankly and honestly as possible, because usually on those things it's helpful to be honest. Nope. I get a call from our salesman regarding the survey, sounding like he was in a confused fluster and snaps at one of his coworkers over the phone while I'm listening when the coworker asks him about something. He then proceeds to take twenty minutes to deny and shame me for what I said over the survey--making no effort to try to make things right. Real professional. If you don't read anything else I wrote here, at least read this: Run. Do not do business here. There are places out there that I know put their customers first. More
