The service department is excellent. My only concern was the lack of health and safety precautions not taken by the employees. No employees wearing mask. After 5 years of service from this location, they screwed over my fiance. Typical stealership , they will take advantage of you and say maintenance is needed when It is not! They even charged for services that ended up failing less than 24 hrs after completion. Then play dumb when called out about it. Don't be fooled by their other ratings. Make sure you check all your service receipts before you allow them to make repairs. Volkswagen of St. Augustine will RIP you off ! More

From the minute you drive up you are welcomed like friends and family. If you call, they do their very best to solve your problem as quickly and conveniently as possible. Mostly I am updating this review to give a shout out to the service department. Over the last few years, I have worked multiple times with David on everything from the diesel fix, to oil changes, to problem-solving small little issues, to quick car washes, to full detailing. He goes above and beyond to take care of me, and all his customers, and has always made sure my car is taken care of as if it was his own. He ensures my safety and satisfaction in all aspects and makes working with VW of St. Aug a pleasure! Also, shout out to James in the service department who always makes my car sparkle and has helped David diagnose mysterious issues as well. They make such a great team here. I love my VW and I am not even a motorhead lol can't recommend this place enough!! More

POOR POOR MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE 3 WEEK AFTER BUYING NEW TIRES FOR $ 550.00+ AT ST AUGUSTINE VOLKSWAGEN ON U.S 1 MY DAUGHTER GOT A NAIL IN THE CENTER OF TIRE . SO AS ALL KIDS DO , 3 WEEK AFTER BUYING NEW TIRES FOR $ 550.00+ AT ST AUGUSTINE VOLKSWAGEN ON U.S 1 MY DAUGHTER GOT A NAIL IN THE CENTER OF TIRE . SO AS ALL KIDS DO , CALL DAD, SHE DID . I TOLD HER TO MEET ME AT THE V.W SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT VOLKSWAGEN . WHEN ARRIVING I WENT INTO THE SERVICE COUNTER AND ASKED THEM TO REMOVE NAIL / PATCH . AT THAT TIME I WAS TOLD WE NO LONGER REPAIR TIRES , AND I SAID I JUST GOT THEM FROM YOU 3 WEEKS AGO AND I ONLY HAVE 1, 034 MILES ON THEM . THE OTHER REP SAID WE CAN SELL YOU A NEW TIRE , BUT OUR POLICY HAS CHANGED WE NO LONGER REPAIR THEM''AT THAT TIME I ASKED IF THE GENERAL MANAGER OR OWNER IS IN . I WAS TOLD MAYBE YOU CAN CHECK UP FRONT DO UNDERSTAND BEHIND THE GLASS LESS 7' FEET AWAY IS THE SERVICE MANAGER. WHEN I WENT UP FRONT TO SEE THE G M / OWNER I WAS TOLD THAT HE'S NOT IN . AT THAT TIME I ASKED THE SALES REP THAT I WAS WORKING A NEW CAR DEAL WITH TO HAVE THE G M / OWNER CALL ME . 2 DAYS AFTER THE TIRE WAS REPAIRED HE DID CALL. LAUGH OUT LOUD. NOW BEFORE I LEFT I WENT BACK TO SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND ASKED WHAT WAS THE POLICY WHEN I GOT MY TIRES ? IT WAS FREE ROTATION AND WE WOULD HAVE REPAIRED THE TIRE UNLESS IT WAS ON SIDEWALL . AND AGAIN THE SERVICE MANAGER JUST SITTING BEHIND THE GLASS . More
