However, having just purchased a used 2016 Toyota Sienna from West County Volvo this week, I'm very happy to report that I was truly pleased with the company’s attitude and service throughout the entire process! Sales manager Stephen Lynch was honest with me, when my vehicle of interest was out “at the lake” for the weekend, and not immediately available for a test drive. When it became available a few days later, he was very prompt and courteous in notifying me… all things that I truly appreciated. When the time came to hand me off to a sales person, he paired me up with Jim Portner, who was excellent. Jim seemed to immediately understand the sort of no-nonsense shopper which I tend to be. He impressed me by being forthright and honest regarding the used Sienna, my own trade-in vehicle, and every other aspect of the car buying process. In short, Jim was terrific! I recognize that at this point I've only had the "new" van for a few days... but the people at West County Volvo made this one of the most pleasant car buying experiences that I've ever had, and I'm happy to recommend them! --CSC More

I have bought A LOT of cars and my experience was so good with both the sales and service (and the car - a 2012 S60 T6) from West County Volvo that I came back to do it again. That's the first time in my life I've been a repeat customer at a car dealer. Everyone at this dealership is top-drawer - Steve, the sales manager, Matt and Ken in the finance office, and as previously stated, Tom Calkins is the best there is. Spectacular West County Volvo experience! After 12 years, I finally realized it was time to part with my Volvo XC 90. I had 116,000 miles and a wonderful partnership with my first Volvo. Lot After 12 years, I finally realized it was time to part with my Volvo XC 90. I had 116,000 miles and a wonderful partnership with my first Volvo. Lots of memories with family and friends and a wonderful driving experience. Since purchasing my first Volvo 12 years ago, my life is very different. I'm retired, have older grandchildren, do a lot of volunteering and traveling. So when I made the decision to buy a new car, a friend recommended West County Volvo, where she had a great experience purchasing a 2017 XC90. On a gray Sunday afternoon, Tom Calkins was in his office and noticed my husband and I looking at the Volvos on the West Co. lot. The dealership was closed. But he immediately came out of his office and introduced himself and showed us several new 2016 & 2017 XC 60's, the model I was interested in. Tom spent a lot of time with us and answered our many questions. I found one of the 2017 XC 60's that met all my criteria. Tom invited us back to drive this particular car at our convenience. He was never pushy, but listened to my thoughts and concerns and was very respectful. We made an appt. and returned to test drive the car the following week. We wound up trading my old Volvo and purchasing a 2017 XC 60. The dreaded process with negotiating the deal went very well. Tom was professional and courteous throughout negotiations. There is a reason he has been the #1 Salesperson for 17 years! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a Volvo. I am obviously not one who parts with her car easily. He made it a little easier to say goodbye. I plan to enjoy my second Volvo as much as the first one! It was just serendipity that Tom was there that Sunday we stopped by to look at Volvos.
