We bought a CPO XC90, and our salesperson MJ and the team were low friction. We knew what we wanted and they worked with us to make it smooth. So the sales process was great. My complaint is that they didn’t do a great job of cleaning and detailing the car either before or after the sale. While they did clean at our request, it wasn’t enough. There were still areas left they could have easily cleaned but just didn’t. A bit more effort would have left us feeling like we had a new car, versus more of a giving up “oh well we’ll just clean it ourselves”. We were already Volvo owners, and it’s a similar problem with the loaner cars they’ve give us. They’re always dirty inside, two in a row that weee dirtier than my car has ever been. If I contrast it with my BMW loaner experience where they’re always immaculate, and you almost feel like you’re part of a club, it’s definitely an area where this Volvo dealer could step things up.
