Surprisingly Unresponsive I purchased a certified pre-owned volvo in early May, my first time purchasing a volvo. They assured me that it had received a 100% score on its cert I purchased a certified pre-owned volvo in early May, my first time purchasing a volvo. They assured me that it had received a 100% score on its certified inspection. The day I picked it up, the car chargers did not work and the next day, one of the bumper sensors started going off continuously. I scheduled a service appointment. The location waiting room is nice and they put out breakfast pastries, coffee and water while you wait, which is a nice touch. However, I had asked for the shuttle van to take me to an off-site location. It never came. 4 hours later they told me that they fixed the car charger but could not fix the bumper sensor until they spoke with headquarters in Europe and they had not been able to reach them. I wasted half of my day and left with the problem unresolved. They could not tell me when to expect an answer and I never received a call from them with an update. Over the next 2 weeks, I left three messages asking for an update without getting a call back. I finally only got an answer about the next step after waiting on hold and insisting that I speak to someone. I am now scheduled to drop the car off to leave with them for several days so they can work with headquarters to identify the problem. Really disappointed in my first Volvo experience. More

My new XC60-T6 tire was ruined by a nail and your service dept had one scheduled for delivery on Monday June 18,2018. (I had a family emergency and couldn’t get to Queens Volvo until June 20.) I called the service department and offered to pay for the tire ahead of time. To my surprise, I was informed that the tire would be held for me; no payment was necessary! More

Unable to change the oil on my car in a timely fashion Brought my xc70 here for an oil change at 9:30 which was the appointment time I was offered. I asked how long it would take to complete the service and I was told about an hour to an hour in a half. I agreed and went for a walk. Upon my return I saw my car outside and went in to speak with the service person. She told me that my car was done and that all she was waiting for was the paperwork from the technician. I went to sit down in the waiting area when the service person approached me and informed me that my car had not been taken care of yet and they had no time frame for when it would be completed. As i had other errands to complete I asked for my keys. I will not be returning to this dealership for any servicing on my vehicle. The kicker is that it is time for a new car as this one has reached the point of diminishing value and cost of repairs and that my family has only owned Volvos for just about the last 30 years but due to my experience her and at the other dealership in Rockville Centre I will be shopping for a new car from a different manufacturer. More
