I'm a skeptical consumer, and a reluctant buyer, and these folks earned my respect and gratitude. I had been looking for a used Impreza Outback, and when I looked at the Walker Subaru website and found these folks earned my respect and gratitude. I had been looking for a used Impreza Outback, and when I looked at the Walker Subaru website and found one on a weekend when I was down with the flu, I began talking with David. He sent me photos, answered all my questions, with no pressure to buy or make a decision. When I took the car to the shop I've been going to for 20 years for an independent inspection, and they found some problems with the car, Walker agreed to do the necessary repairs free of charge, saying they wanted me to be satisfied with my purchase. And furthermore, to save me having to make a long bus trip to Renton, David arranged for them to bring a loaner car to my workplace in Seattle for me to use over the several days while the repairs were being made on my new (used) car! Truly these folks were understanding and accommodating WAY beyond what one would expect from a dealer. My only complaint is that they do not allow customers to take the car for an independent inspection before making the purchase; I had to pay for the car BEFORE taking it in for an inspection. This made me very uneasy, even though I was assured by David and Jan that my money would be refunded if the inspection found problems that they were not willing to repair. When I raised questions about it, I ended up feeling like I was being disrespectful. I hope they'll consider changing this policy in the future, because everyone I dealt with there was trustworthy, it's just this policy that I find problematic. More
