My Father-in-Law is an elderly man suffering from Cancer. He is a proud and self sufficient man that needs to take care of issues for himself. He was very unhappy with the local dealership where he had purchased several new Chevrolet's through the years, and had decided to try Subaru based on recomendations from friends and family. But equally as important to the vehicle itself was the attention to service he would recieve from the dealership and representive. When word went out that Jim was in the market for a new Subaru we recived contact from many dealerships in the region but Ken Galimanis made a very impressive representation of Walkers Renton Subaru. When Ken heard the storys of Jim and the previous dealership, the cancer issues, the travel restrictions, and time constraints, he volunteered to to bring the vehicle many miles to show and hopefully move it. My father-in-law was equally impressed with the vehicle and the level of service he was shown. We went to this dealer as a prelimnary step in buying a car. He did a good job of "letting the car sell its self" but was able to obtain the information we needed to help with out decision. We found a car we liked and although the price was a little higher than we expected he pointed out features that made us feel this was the right decision for us. The entire experience at Walker's Subaru was great. Ha Lee met us as soon as we pulled into the lot and began questioning what we were looking for. The exact car I was looking for, with the right accessories and with the right color (Sky Blue) just happened to be there and I knew within the first five minutes that this was THE car and that this was the right time for me to buy. Ha Lee explained the construction of the engine and the safety features. The negotiation process was low key and we agreed on a what we felt was a fair price. I believe the trade-in price for my Toyota RAV4 was reasonable, considering it had 156,000 miles. The financing department was very professional and friendly. Everyone was friendly. Before leaving the shop in my new car, Ha helped me to connect my Smartphone with the Bluetooth and reviewed with me how to operate the car and its unique functions. There is a great deal involved in buying a new car and the day gets long. But, the experience was very pleasant and painless and I would recommend Walker's Subaru to my friends and family. More
