The car I bought drove well and ran well, but the check engine light came on on the way home. Turned out the coil was bad on one cylinder and it had a burnt valve. I would certainly recommend Alden and Walker's Subaru to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and honesty during the, sometimes painful, experience of buying a new car. I was impressed with all of the personnel that we dealt with at Walker's and the follow-up, even in the first week, has been very impressive. One of the better decisions that I have made. More

She wasn't pushy at all and worked very hard to get us the price we wanted. The second day when my wife came with me she was helping train another salesman and he too was very friendly and went on a test drive with us and explained some more about the car. I have never experienced such manipulative tactics as when I went to purchase a used car here. The car I went to try was a used Mazda. When I got there it didn't start, not to worry, they quickly rushed when I went to purchase a used car here. The car I went to try was a used Mazda. When I got there it didn't start, not to worry, they quickly rushed me off to other cars in their inventory. It almost felt like the Mazda was there as an underpriced gimmick to get me onto the lot. These feelings were further justified when I was called two hours later being told that they had other cars of the same model at their other lot. What a mistake I made to return. They drove me to their other dealership - the Walker's Mazda in Renton where magically though they had promised several cars of the model I was looking for none were to be found and another salesman came out from the Mazda dealership "looking" for the missing cars. When they finally took me back to the used Subaru lot the original Mazda still had not been jumped and they were more than happy to show me other cars I wasn't interested which they were trying to get off of their hands. Walker Subaru in Renton - you give used care dealers the reputation they deserve! Slimy and deceiving. Stay Away! More

I was looking for a Subaru again after buying a new one two years ago. I stopped in at Renton Subaru and met Alix Plaster a female. I agreed but when it cam down to it she was blowing smoke and would/could not back up her deal. Sadly, thinking back the same thing happened at Renton Subaru a couple of years ago so I bought at another dealer back then.. You'd would think I sgould have learned.. I sure have this time.... My suggestion - shop the other dealers and stay away fron Renton Subaru.. Wanted to buy a new Forester, after consulting ads in the local newspaper and reviewing online pricing at local dealers, decided there wasn't a lot of difference in pricing. First time buying a Subaru, but after purchasing 3 new vehicles in the last six years, I have to say that the whole experience at Renton Subaru was the best I have had. Matt was very patient with us, allowed us to take our time and I never once felt rushed or pressured into a decision. The finance department was able to work with a minor issue I had and provided a quick and reasonable financing package, along with a fair price for my trade-in vehicle. After having many not so pleasant encounters with new car dealers, I was amazed at how the car buying experience could go if done right. We love our new Subaru and would send our friends to Walker's Renton Subaru without hesitation. More
