Ian Wang did an awesome job helping us find the right car. We knew we were interested in a Subaru and were leaning toward an Impreza hatchback. I have had a rough go around with Walker’s Renton and I wish I had been more informed before I bought. Sales: Or original sales person was not knowledgeable about the product. He was not able to answer wish I had been more informed before I bought. Sales: Or original sales person was not knowledgeable about the product. He was not able to answer questions about the cars, so they passed us off to Kyle. Kyle was great. Knew the product really well and worked with the dealership to get a good deal, but since he was pulled in last minute for the sale, he was unable to go over the product with us. Overall, Kyle has been the best person to work with at Subaru. The one issue I have is that they sold me a Subaru with a broken part and refuse to fix it. I highly, highly suggest going through each button and open each thing to ensure nothing is broken, because they may not disclose this information. Finance has been a nightmare. We were rushed through the process and the gap coverage and extended warranty were sort of thrown at us without a good explanation. Don’t get gap coverage. Your insurance has it for WAY cheaper. That isn’t the part I’m upset about. I bought my car in September and traded in my Volkswagen. They didn’t pay off the lean, despite that being part of our agreement. I called mid October and stopped by the store to let them know and they didn’t look into it, so it is now two payments gone unpaid and they did not apologize for the mistake. I have been on and off the phone with them and was not impressed at how they handled this at all. Service does not communicate well with sales. The part that was broken they originally thought was covered by warranty, so they started off willing to help, but they are horrible at quoting the time it will take for service. Alex is wonderful and if you need additional help he is a great communicator, but overall I hope this team works to have better communication. Since then, I’ve been working with Carter Subaru in Ballard and I highly recommend them. They are a well oiled machine and communicate really well. Weigh your options prior to buying, but Walker made a really exciting time in my life quite the nightmare More
I’d been car shopping for a couple months, did my research, compared different cars, went to numerous dealerships while I considered what I wanted/didn’t want in a car and when I was finally ready to research, compared different cars, went to numerous dealerships while I considered what I wanted/didn’t want in a car and when I was finally ready to buy a car, I went to Walkers Mazda since two friends recommended it. Gotta say, really really pleased working with Walkers Renton Mazda. Christian Gonzalez went above and beyond to help me find and get the car I wanted and in the price range I was looking for (love the car!) Christian was super informative and knowledgeable; answered all of my many, many questions. His manager and the gal in finance were also really wonderful. Highly recommend this dealership and working with Christian! Love my car!:) More

After test drives, tried to get a quote from Rick via text/email. He refused to quote me without coming in...yet 10+ reps in the state all quoted me via text/email. What does that tell you? This is the t text/email. He refused to quote me without coming in...yet 10+ reps in the state all quoted me via text/email. What does that tell you? This is the type of rep who like to use all the standard deceptions that used car salesmen are hated for. Just watch any of the numerous car buying videos by Auto Advocate, Chevy Dude, Kevin Hunter (homework guy) Scotty Kilmer, Marco at White Board Finance, etc...and you'll find all the typical sales schemes they list there...are what I encountered in my experience with Rick. Here's another example...I asked to bring the used car to a certified mechanic for inspection...and he said they won't allow it because they have to "protect their reputation". Again, that's another example I've never heard ANY other dealer say (including Lexus, BMX, Audi, etc). What does that even mean? In my 45 years of life, I've never heard anyone speak to me about some local car dealership's reputation. As if such a thing exists. And even if it did...how would getting a car inspected, hurt your reputation? That makes no sense. What utter nonsense. Clearly this rep is trying to hide something about the car. Everything about this experience felt shady and atypical compared to my experiences with other dealers and reps (and I should mention I've been shopping at over 40+ dealerships. So what does that tell you when I'm hearing multiple things from this guy that NO OTHER rep has told me out of 40+ other dealers? If I get in touch with a different rep there and have a better experience, then I'll adjust this rating for this particular dealership accordingly. More
