Subsequent start check engine light came on along with flashing cruise control and flashing xtrack lights, along with hill start light. Arriving at my hotel at SEATAC I looked up the closest Subaru dealer, Walker’s Subaru and made an appointment for the following afternoon at 4:00pm. I arrived early at 2:00pm and after explaining the situation to Kevin the service tech he attempted to reset the system with his OBD reader. The reader would not connect to the car as the harness was inoperative also. Kevin quoted me diagnostic estimate and then recommended a great restaurant for lunch after I asked. I had a leisurely lunch and on my return my Forester was back in the service line. Turns out the jump blew a7.5amp fuse, Kevin said “no charge” and I was on my way. Does not get better than this! More

This dealer was on my way so I booked an appointment. While in the shop my advisor, Tori, told me the tech recommended air and cabin filters, which I agreed to. She also had my wiper blades changed under warranty (her suggestion), thanks. I was in the car business for forty years (BMW, Mercedes, Lamborghini parts/manager). This dealer has a nice setup for service and good staff. The parts retail area is off of the waiting area and has free popcorn, drew me in to look around.
