Was treated poorly as they did not see profit in me. drove 25 minutes in traffic out of my way to this location today. Was upfront and honest with them that I needed to test drive a Subaru Legacy and a Subaru Forrester as my company allows me to elect Subaru if I give ample justification of need for an AWD car. I had done the legwork to try and go with the Subaru brand as in the past I have been happy with my Subarus. I have never had a company car before and all subarus I have owned were personal cars. Because It will be bought from Subaru and although likely delivered through this dealership I expected some decent Subaru service like I have had in the past. I would have sat there and waited for someone for 20-30 min to give me a test drive in these two cars. I had already driven 25 minutes to get there. Without even coming out of his office the manager told the sales person to tell me that I would have to come back during the week because weekends are not a good time. which the sales person apologizing did. (Not a single customer in the entire lobby or walking around the lot.) Over Ten people standing around and or working at desks. I was so aghast at the rudeness of this and the lack of service I walked out muttering to myself (and said thank you to the greeter who was kind and polite. Welcomed me to the dealership and stood and shook my hand) and immediately turned around and went back to find out who the manager of the manager was. Glen Chandler (sales manager) who was also sitting at his desk and didn't even bother to stand up to greet me. Told me that He was just looking out for his sales people and they have to make a commission etc etc. (I get that. I didn't want to tie them up. I simply had fought to give Subaru my service and was treated like Dog Crap by them here.) He willingly gave me a card and told me that the problem was with me and didn't get why I had an attitude (explained to him that I had driven out of my way to come to Subaru because I desired to buy one.) and apparently I didn't understand that sales people make a lively hood off of sales and they wouldn't get much if anything from my purchase through my company. and stated that weekends were not good again ( it was friday night. Not the weekend) And to come back during the week. I explained that I work for a rather large company and I had fought to get a subaru and that I also had four cars at home and buy for my family as well and had only asked to see two cars and drive them around the block. He then offered to send a lot attendant out with me if I picked out the cars. and told me that I needed to come back during the week if I wanted to test drive cars with the sales force. (With an attitude that clearly stated that my time was not valuable or respected by him or his team) I will follow up with his management. And I will do everything in my power to not only advise people not to buy here, and due to my car sales experience in the past and having a love for a quality automobile I do hope that not a single one of the people I meet buys a subaru at this location. Avoid the Subaru brand here in this area as if there service was anything like what I received you will not be happy in the long run. I have owned Subarus in the past and am a fan of them. They make a quality product. But this locations rudeness will take a long time for me to forget and when I see a Subaru driving down the road it will remind me that I was just a dollar figure to them and they don't really care about me or that I had already spent a portion of my evening trying to come and support their brand. It was maddening and sad. If they were busy I could most assuredly see them asking me to wait until other paying customers were served or simply asking if they could schedule a time where I could come in. Rather then that they simply told me that it was not convenient for them and I should come back when the weekly sales team was in again telling me that I was not worth the time or attention as they knew from my honesty upfront that they would not be making a lot on this sale. I could have wasted their time and gone in there and acted like I wanted to buy etc etc. But instead I was honest and respectful of their time and told them straight up what I needed and wanted to achieve. I am greatly disappointed not only in this location but in Subaru as a whole. More

I emailed David to discuss ordering a new 2015 and he was prompt to respond. I outlined what options I wanted and we settled on a price (all by email). The only thing left was the trade. I scheduled an appointment to have our 2007 Subaru OB Xt appraised and was pleased to find the dealer would offer a reasonable amount for our trade. I have purchased a lot of cars over the years so throughout the process I was waiting for "the other shoe to drop". It never did, even as walking out the door after taking delivery I was still amazed. David and the folks at Walker were true to their word throughout the process. I'd happily buy from them again. Great experience My wife and I had decided that we might like to buy a 2015 Subaru Forester in jasmine green before we came to the dealership. On the basis of the rev My wife and I had decided that we might like to buy a 2015 Subaru Forester in jasmine green before we came to the dealership. On the basis of the reviews of Diane Baldwin posted online, we decided to ask for her specifically to be our salesperson if possible. Diane greeted us in the new car parking lot and showed us two 2015 Foresters in jasmine green. She provided us with so much helpful information and answered all of the questions we had in her well known friendly, personable and professional manner. She made our entire experience of buying a car relaxed and very pleasant. We would strongly recommend Diane Baldwin at Walker’s Renton Subaru dealership to our friends. More

Disappointing Recently I purchased a 2010 Ford Escape XLT. We arrived at about 3pm and Brandon let us take it out for a test drive. During the drive we heard an od Recently I purchased a 2010 Ford Escape XLT. We arrived at about 3pm and Brandon let us take it out for a test drive. During the drive we heard an odd noise. Brandon attributed it to a "Ford noise" but had mentioned that the previous person to test drive had also heard the noise. My fiance and I only heard it once on the drive and so contributed it to the cement recycling plant nearby. After a few hours of negotiations (It was a long process as we had a certain price point we had in mind and used my old car as a trade in) we almost came to an agreement but wanted to test drive the vehicle once more just to check on that noise. Brandon assured us that as a Certified Used Dealership the cars go through multiple safety inspections and after the previous person heard the noise it went through the inspection again and their mechanics found nothing wrong. On the second test drive we didn't hear anything and so went ahead with the purchase. Brandon and AJ (the manager) were very helpful and friendly through the whole ordeal. Once we finally got through all the paperwork it was about 10pm and we had a 3 hour drive home. When we got on the highway we heard the noise once again and very loudly. It escalated into a sharp whine but at that time of night there was no way we could bring it back. It was struggling and making a louder "clunking" noise as we pulled into our town. When we arrived at home I noticed fluid covering the entire back of the vehicle and a puddle forming underneath. Needless to say I was very upset as this could have been very dangerous for us and I was assured many times that the vehicle was in great condition. As soon as Walker's opened the next morning I called and told them what happened. I was directed to another manager, Ross, and he apologized several times and let me know this was not typical for their vehicles. I had it towed to the nearest Ford mechanic. The diagnosis was a seized rear differential and the bill estimate was sent to Ross. I immediately got a call saying not to worry and it was being taken care of. As frustrating as the ordeal was I was glad to have a solution and Ross kept me in the loop the entire time. While I was waiting for the mechanics to receive the part a gentleman from Walker's finance department called to tie up some loose ends with our loan. He asked what was wrong with our car and after I explained it to him he laughed said, "I guess you should've gotten our insurance after all then huh?" I couldn't believe the lack of empathy. I had my credit union deal with him after that. Unfortunately the part took awhile to get here and about two and a half weeks later my car was finished. The mechanic shop called me to tell me it was done but that I couldn't take it home because the work wasn't paid for. I called Walker's Mazda again and they directed me to a different manager who tried to get me to pay for it myself and that Walker's would just send me a check. I let him know that this was not an option for me. He said, "Well this sure is an inconvenience for you huh?" No kidding Mr.! Finally he said that he would have the office over night a check to the mechanic shop. It is now 3 weeks that I've been without my vehicle and still no check! I called Walker's again and the salesman that answered took down my info and told me that they have another new manager and that they were busy. Still no call back....I was moderately happy with the friendly sales staff when we purchased the car, angry when the car broke within 4 hours of owning it, and relieved when they said they'd pay for the repair that was obviously their oversight in the inspection process. But now I'm just disappointed at the overall experience. More
