I have driven Subaru cars for 15 years, Basically, Subaru cars never given me any problem, and I like 4 wheel drive which let me feel safety. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership. We went on Friday evening and the salesman said he could get us X price on a Legacy. Went in the next day to purchase, brought in a car dealership. We went on Friday evening and the salesman said he could get us X price on a Legacy. Went in the next day to purchase, brought in a car to trade in. They gave us great money for the trade and still couldn't even get close to X in price. Original quote was assuming no trade in. We test drove the car one more time and the gas light was on. Once we got back inside we decided it would probably still be a great deal on the car, so as long as they filled up the tank so we could make it home than it would be a deal. The manager of the dealership who came out with a quote then decided to argue with me how driving vehicles on empty is fine "all of our cars are on E" he said. Anyone who has any mechanical knowledge of vehicles knows that it is not good for cars to drive on E. While it is a safety mechanism, it is not meant to be driven that way for a long period of time. The sales manager proceeded to argue loudly across the room how it is fine. I do not like conflict, nor arguing and I don't believe this was a great way to complete a sale for a new car, nor is it a way any customer should be treated. So all in all, they lost a sale and a potential loyal customer over $40 to fill up the tank. I would never recommend any friends or family to Walker's Renton. The following day we landed at NorthWest MotorSports and my experience was everything I would expect and more! They were extremely helpful, worked out a great deal and super friendly salesman. They were not pushy, were not argumentative and were truly genuine everyday friendly folks! There was no yelling; conversations were kept in small areas and not for the whole world to hear. While spending that much money on a car is difficult and can stress a person out, the salesman at NorthWeat MotorSports definitely helped relieve any tension i felt towards salesman after my experience at Walker's. More
Our salesmen was Roman and he was very informative and helpful. He stayed far beyond the closing time to work with us and answered all questions. Buying a car is never an easy process, especially a used vehicle, because you are uncertain of what you are buying. Roman managed to gain our trust and that is not easy to do in the car sales world. I went here on Saturday with my mother to help her buy a new car. For nearly a year she's been interested in replacing her old 1990 Legacy and after months of research decided upon a 2013 Impreza. She's never bought a new car before, or for that matter any car on her own, so I volunteered to help her through the process (I've owned and bought at least a few cars over the years and consider myself experienced in this area). After emailing several local dealers to get price quotes, she decided on an Impreza Sport Premium hatchback they had in inventory at Walker's. We met with Jason, one of the sales guys with whom she'd been exchanging emails, when we arrived. He was very outgoing and friendly, and took the time to answer all of my mother's questions before proceeding with the sale. The price was as agreed, and after completing the sale, which took less than an hour, Jason was patient enough to walk her through all of the car's features. Mind you, my mother's not the least bit tech savvy and It can be very frustrating to teach her anything remotely technological - even using my dishwasher is a challenge for her. Nonetheless, Jason went out of his way to make sure she was familiar and comfortable with her new car and really helped make her first time car purchase a positive experience. I can't speak to quality of this dealership's other sales representatives or service department, but Jason was great. I feel its important to recognize people who exceed expectations as did Jason in our experience. If you decide to consider a new Subaru at Walker's, I recommend that you contact Jason Takahashi. More

I appreciated Roman's approach where he communicated upfront that he was not interested in wasting our time and his low sales-pressure tactics. I really enjoyed my whole experience. This was the only dealership in the puget sound that didn't charge an extra $2-3000 over sticker for a trailer fee. I was glad that they could find me a 2013 BRZ in a dealership in the puget sound that didn't charge an extra $2-3000 over sticker for a trailer fee. I was glad that they could find me a 2013 BRZ in a timely manner without me having to compromise the specifications I wanted (red and automatic). The trade-in deal was fair, and the sales staff was knew everything about the car and was very friendly to my mother (co-owner of the trade-in) and myself. More
