Service Check In-Chad I think his name was I’ve always loved having my vehicles serviced at Walser, however, a new service check in employee kept telling me that it was recommended to have my s I’ve always loved having my vehicles serviced at Walser, however, a new service check in employee kept telling me that it was recommended to have my spark plugs changed 9,000 miles ago. I told him I understand the recommendations but all my inspections haven’t indicated that I needed new spark plugs. He again said that I should have them changed as I’m overdue for $400 dollars and 3 hours of service. Again I told him that I was unaware there was an issue with my spark plugs and that I didn’t have 3 hours to wait for my car. I was just in for an oil change and tire rotation today. He still didn’t let it go saying that I was making a bad decision and that with the free loaner cars that I didn’t have an excuse to not do it. I finally just had to walk away and go grab some popcorn. Not once since I’ve been servicing TWO vehicles at Walser have I ever felt so pushed to do something. I get it, it’s recommended to change the spark plugs at 60,000 miles, but if I want to use every once of energy in my spark plugs before they run out of time, I have that right. More
