I brought my 1989 Corvette to the dealership for a full safety inspection. While completing the inspection the technician improperly placed my windshield wipers and smashed down the hood causing the wind safety inspection. While completing the inspection the technician improperly placed my windshield wipers and smashed down the hood causing the windshield to crack. Instead of notifying me of the damage the technician had wrote on the inspection sheet that my vehicle came in with the damaged windshield and sent me on my way. On the drive home I noticed the crack and immediately pulled over, inspected my vehicle, and went back to the dealership. When arriving the service manager acted as if we caused the crack on the drive home. I immediately stated I had a photo of my vehicle, at the dealership after I handed them my keys proving the windshield was not cracked when dropped off and proof the damage was caused by their technician neglect. This was my first dealership experience and I am extremely disappointed and now terrified to trust even the dealership with my vehicle due to the dishonesty from the tech and lack of customer care from the service manager. Accidents happen but lack of accountability is distasteful - I would not recommend this dealership to any friends and family. More
