Material Misrepentation and False Advertising This dealer held a sales event whereby they sent out flyers which included a discount coupon of $3674.25. The purchased vehicle was for sale for $157 This dealer held a sales event whereby they sent out flyers which included a discount coupon of $3674.25. The purchased vehicle was for sale for $15799.00. This price was not disclosed to me which constitutes false advertising and material misrepresentation. Once I discovered the discrepancy they tried to tell me it was a different vehicle. Upon pointing out that it was the same VIN number they back-tracked and masked it as re-conditioning fees. I was charged $18823.00 which when combined with the "coupon", which I never benefited from, places the cost of this vehicle much higher. Further they did not provide copies of all signed documents which included a document to replace the cracked windshield. Since I have complained about this Mr. Battista has decided retaliation is the best remedy and now states that they will not replace the windshield. They have also attempted to color my complaint as buyer's remorse which emphatically it is not. I like the vehicle. Not to mention the fact that dealer profit, inspecting, cleaning and adjusting the vehicle is already on the contract for $995.00. This makes hiding behind reconditioning fees ludicrous. This dispute has been resolved. More
