I was exploring 3 dealerships on Saturday. I walked in, forgot who I was supposed to speak with, and then was the wrong person, after the right one found me, the deal went SUPER smooth. Nelson started to speak with me about the UBer program, and then asked me to wait a moment as he had some questions for his boss...I'm like, oh gosh here are those nightmares I heard so much about. Here comes Pete, telling me how the Uber system worked and how its going to cost me more to go through UBer for my payments than if I just don't go direct with Honda. I am like, let me please tell you straight up, I am very shocked, and blessed I was approved by UBer, I highly doubt you are going to get me approved for financing, no matter how well your offer sounds to me, Its just not going to happen, so we might as well save both of us the time. He said to me, well it will save you and won't take that long, I just need your permission. I said okay, sure try it, I already know its not going to happen. Working with Nelson, my sales guy, he goes over the Honda Civic with me, from bumper to bumper, all the engine stuff that I don't know nothing about, and then the features , and that's when I said okay now I understand you..hehe. Very nice guy, we go back in, Pete pulls him to the side and says, we are processing your application now, and if you like Nelson can take you for your test drive. We went for a 20 minute test drive, I said this car is perfect except for the back seats, they a bit small in room. Nelson said, have a seat back there yourself and see if there is room. I did so, and I was wrong, there is plenty of room, and I am 6'1. So we go back into the dealership, they are waiting for everything, and in about an hour, Nelson come and hands me a paper. I said oh this is through Uber I see, and he said no, that is the discount is through UBer your financed through Honda. I was like you are joking right...and he said no, I said well, I still cannot come up with the amount of the down payment.! They waived it for me, not asked me to pay later,they waived it,completely! So I am one happy customer with Wesley Chapel Honda, I encourage anyone who needs a car and wants to be in good hands on getting one, call on Nelson who will then talk to Pete and let the magic happen. It happened to me and it could and possibly will happen to you. You will have GREAT care, a personal friend, and most of all 4 wheels you can depend on.
