When I arrived for my sales associate appointmen Last Saturday I had the pleasure of having Sharrod Hill as my sales associate at Wesley Chapel Honda. When I arrived for my sales associate appointment with Sharrod's , I was immediately impressed by his preparation for the appointment based on our phone conversation the day before. I was strongly considering the base model Accord but also considering the base model CRV and HRV. Being familiar with the Accord, Sharrod and I sat in the CRV and HRV models in the showroom. He explained all the features of the CRV and HRV explaining what would be included not included in the base models and the differences between ride feel between the SUVs vs Accord sedan. I decided to test drive the base Accord and base HRV. Sharrod had the base models to test drive vehicle readily available. During each test drive I was given a full review of the vehicles and feature knowledge of Honda vehicles is exceptional. I end up purchasing a New 2020 Honda Accord LX. Throughout the sales process Sharrod never pressured me or try to up sell me a higher model. He listened to my needs and was well prepared for my visit. He places the customers needs first. Purchased a 2019 Ford F150 on Saturday 5/2/2020. The same day i purchased the truck tire pressure monitoring sensor fault light appeared. I brought the truck back to the dealership and was told by the same day i purchased the truck tire pressure monitoring sensor fault light appeared. I brought the truck back to the dealership and was told by the service department to take it to Park Ford as they would send it there being that they did not have the equipment necessary to diagnose the issue. Went to Ford today and they informed me that the truck was sold to me without TPM sensors in the tires. safety concern.. There also happens to be a cracked taillight assembly that was found after purchase causing condinsation and possible electrical failure. TPM sensors are now on order yet they denied replacing the taillight because i bought the vehicle used. This all within 48hrs of purchase of a 30,000 dollar truck. When i requested to meet with the GM the sales manager BOB went and briefed Justin about the situation and i watched him leave the building after their convestaion only to be told that he a had a meeting to go to and could not address my concern. What type of business treats a 21 year military Veteran like this? I am very disappointed about this experience and would hope the Veteran community stays clear of purchasing vehicles from this dealership. More

We are very happy with the car itself. We searched it out and it has the features we wanted. But my husband will have to bring it back in soon because the tire sensor is broken or malfunctioning. When we were leaving with the car we asked why they hadn’t filled up the tires since the sensor light was on, and we were told that they didn’t have access to the air pump. The tires all looked fine so we went ahead and left. Sure enough today we filled all the tires to the correct pressure and then noticed that one tire on the driver front side is a different tire than the other three. We also noticed that the fog light on that corner is broken. Bulb still works and lights up fine but the plastic casing was completely cracked. It seems the previous owner ran over something and damaged that corner of the vehicle, replacing the tire before trading it in. This is likely also the reason why the sensor is malfunctioning. When we were leaving with the car we asked why they hadn’t filled up the tires and we were told that they didn’t have access to the air pump. The tires all looked fine so we went ahead and left. But what we’re mainly disappointed with is the sales tactic that was used to try to blindside us with a higher price at the last minute. On Carfax and other sites the listing price showed as fair, but only because they were not including the reconditioning of the car. My husband has purchased cars before from dealerships and reconditioning is an expected service to be done to a car before reselling it. And it should absolutely be included in the list price from the beginning. If that had been included in this list price, Carfax would have clearly stated that it was being listed at an unfair price, above its market value. The salesman did a great job of never mentioning this during discussion of the vehicle and plans for payment. He never actually said the specific price of the vehicle during these conversations, just kept referring to what a great price it was, and he strategically drew our eyes to the areas of the paperwork that he wanted us to see rather than the very fine print where this fee for reconditioning was stated. It wasn’t until late in the evening when we were with the financial person setting everything up that we were shown that $1200 had been added to the price for reconditioning. We were expecting the dealer fee, taxes, etc. We know this is normal. The $1200 for something they always do and should always include in the list price from the beginning is ridiculous and very disappointing customer service. It’s clear that this dealership lists their cars in a way that they will look like a fair price on Carfax and other sites, but consumers beware, it’s not an honest listing price, and they will do all they can to hide that from you until you’ve already committed much of your time to the deal.
