Save your money as the West Houston dealership takes advantage of your situation by marking up the price 15% over MSRP. The salesman lied by saying everyone does this. We ended up buying from Sterling advantage of your situation by marking up the price 15% over MSRP. The salesman lied by saying everyone does this. We ended up buying from Sterling McCall Hyundai where there isn’t a ridiculous mark up. Our salesman, Ron was great too! More
Made an appointment for 10:00 am this moring for a recall that should take only an hour or so. After an hour and a half a salesman said our car was still running with the windows down. Asked them when it wou that should take only an hour or so. After an hour and a half a salesman said our car was still running with the windows down. Asked them when it would be ready and they said they have to order the part and it would take all day. When I made the appointment last week they said they have the part in stock. Why wasn't I told they would have to order the part and take all day when I first checked in instead of waiting an hour and a half and not telling me. We drove in from Magnolia thinking it would take an hour. I will not take my car back there again. I think they owe me some gas money. ps the salesman Austin was very nice and helpful. The service department is very unprofessional and this is unacceptable. Too bad that don't care about the customers time and money wasted getting there. Find another dealership to buy from, there are plenty out there. More
Incompetence at is finest in the service department. Took our brand new 2022 Palisade in for its second oil change at 6,000 Miles. Looked at the service paperwork and the dealer service department used Took our brand new 2022 Palisade in for its second oil change at 6,000 Miles. Looked at the service paperwork and the dealer service department used the WRONG weight oil. The owners manual only lists a single oil weight (5w-30) the engine oil fill cap in bold letters list 5w-30. There are no published alternative weights. The West Houston Hyundai service dept serviced with 5w-20. I immediately went and purchased the correct weight oil and drained (only +60 miles on the wrong fill but who knows if any long term effects) I documented with pictures and an oil sample which I will send to the lab for verification as I am sure this dealer will say they used the correct oil and just the paperwork is wrong. Will be filling formal notice to Hyundai in case I have any Issues down the road related to engine oil. More
I cannot express enough what a wonderful experience our family had at West Houston Hyundai, all thanks to Ricky! We test drove, asked all the questions, went home, texted more questions, and then came back family had at West Houston Hyundai, all thanks to Ricky! We test drove, asked all the questions, went home, texted more questions, and then came back and purchased our Palisade. Ricky answered every question and was incredibly patient and thorough. We really appreciated that he took the time to make sure we understood all the vehicle's functions before we pulled off the lot. We were also very very thankful for his negotiating skills in getting us at the price point we needed. He truly cared that we got what we needed and understood everything. Hands down the best car buying experience we've had in years! Thank you Ricky! More
Hi Daryen Wesisbord You should really improve on your communication skills and train your receptionist. Here are the reasons why: 1. You had an 80-year old lady show up at 8AM per appointment time slo communication skills and train your receptionist. Here are the reasons why: 1. You had an 80-year old lady show up at 8AM per appointment time slot 2. You have failed to actually attend to the issue she had with the car until she repeatedly asked for an update - it was not till 11:37AM that you were able to quote $430.65 for the needed part and another $1,000+ of "recommended services" 3. Your Receptionist has been extremely rude to the 80-year old lady and was reluctant to explain the delay when I called in. Her response was "I am not playing here, I am busy! I don't know when the service will be done, it is up to the Supervisor to decide on that. I don't know how to accept payments over the phone, I will have someone else reach out to you with a CC Auth Form" 4. At 11:56AM you email the CC Auth Form - I call back the Receptionist and ask what amount I should put onto the Form. Her response: "As I said ALREADY, it is up to the Supervisor, you just have to WAIT" 5. At 1:49PM, there is still no update on the work or the payment amount - I call in. The Receptionist: "Wait I will get the Supervisor" 6. You (the Supervisor I assume): I am not letting this lady drive off without payment - me: "What are you talking about? No one is trying to leave without payment. Gimme the exact charge amount and you'll have the CC Auth form in half a minute. All I am asking is whether the service is complete. Your Customer's been there for 6 hours and is not feeling well. I need to know if I should get her an Uber or wait longer" 7. You (the Supervisor) gets into "I ain't letting nobody leave without payment" thing again - me: "Did you understand what I was just saying? I am sending you the form as we speak. All I am asking is how much longer is this gonna take? - You: "I need to first see the payment" - me: "xxx??" - he hangs up 8. I call in again - the Receptionist doesn't want to talk, refers to the Supervisor again. The Supervisor graces me with his attention - now that he got the signed CC Auth Form: "It will take a few minutes to process the payment, you have to wait" 9. Fine, I can wait. But do not xxxxing make an 80-year old lady sit there with no updates, no communication, and threaten to keep her keys you mean evil people More
Worst dealership i have ever dealt with, been dealing with car dealerships for over 40 years! Car was ordered and supposed to be delivered in 10 bays from plant in Alabama. After waiting three weeks, i h with car dealerships for over 40 years! Car was ordered and supposed to be delivered in 10 bays from plant in Alabama. After waiting three weeks, i had to go to the dealership and tell them you have one more week, or the deal is off! What do you know, the car was there three days later! Picked up the new car and dropped off the trade in car three weeks ago, and today i get an auto payment taken out of my bank account for the car i traded in three weeks ago, so i call the people who financed my trade, only to be told that West Houston Hyundai hasn't paid it off yet! I've been lied to so many times by these people, so i will be visiting them in the morning! My advice is to stay as far away from this dealership as you can! More
They use bait and will force you to buy another vehicle. Sales guy Alex is not a normal person very aggressive and will lie on your face. And when caught blame everything on manager. They will just add 15% Sales guy Alex is not a normal person very aggressive and will lie on your face. And when caught blame everything on manager. They will just add 15% over sticker price with lame excuses and on top of it want to add protection package for windshield, GPS etc for additional $3k. They will run your credit and then come back to say car is sold. West Houston Hyundai should be ashamed of themselves no integrity just wants to rob people and lies. More
