Oil spots on my garage floor after service Had oil change on 2011 Traverse and a couple of days later found two large oil spots on our garage floor. Had to take it back in to find the problem. Had oil change on 2011 Traverse and a couple of days later found two large oil spots on our garage floor. Had to take it back in to find the problem. They said there were no leaks. Cause was in changing the filter the oil had run across a metal plate and caused it to remain there and drip for several days. The technician told me they need to be more careful in cleaning up the drainage. This is the second time I have a similar problem with that shop. That other problem was about 10 years ago with another vehicle. More
