I went into Windy Chevrolet on December 30, 2022 in desperate need of a good used vehicle. Upon selecting one, I asked about its maintenance record and timing belt/chain status. They assured me it was desperate need of a good used vehicle. Upon selecting one, I asked about its maintenance record and timing belt/chain status. They assured me it was not an issue. I laid $1500 down and financed the rest. The car lasted only 8 weeks before the timing belt failed on the highway. I'm now making monthly payments on a dead vehicle that Windy Chevrolet will not stand behind. Horrible experience. Horrible business. Update: it's now been 2 years, and I've corresponded with them 3 times. They won't stand behind the vehicle they unloaded on me. All they offered (in June 2023) was to put me in ANOTHER, more expensive vehicle, absoring the dead car's loan balance into an new, inflated loan at what is surely to be a ridiculously high APR...in exchange for my removing this honest online review. To be clear, they want to bleed me for more money AND they want me to remove this review. Asinine logic. Bottom line: Windy Chevrolet knowingly sold me a piece of refurbished garbage and they now refuse to do the right thing. Pathetic. The least they could do is refund my $1500 down payment. Let's see if they are decent enough to offer that. I am a long-time resident of both Yakima and Ellensburg, and I will tell everyone I know exactly what happened to me at Windy Chevrolet. Don't be fooled by dealer-promoted "positive" reviews on this and other review websites. AVOID this dealership in 2025 and beyond. More

I brought my 2020 Blazer in for a routine 40K-mile maintenance and brake replacement. The only issue with my vehicle was one faulty TPMS sensor. After receiving my vehicle back, I found that all of th maintenance and brake replacement. The only issue with my vehicle was one faulty TPMS sensor. After receiving my vehicle back, I found that all of the sensors were now malfunctioning. The mechanics informed me that they couldn’t reprogram the other three sensors without replacing the faulty one, at an additional cost of $190. I know that TPMS sensors often fail, and it is not necessary to replace all of them to restore functionality. This experience feels deceptive and unfair. More
Aaron was very informative about my cars needs. I learned that the new cars really require a conscientious owner. I live in the woods and drive up a half mile of dirt road to reach my home. M I learned that the new cars really require a conscientious owner. I live in the woods and drive up a half mile of dirt road to reach my home. My poor Denali deserves better - if I wash it it is filthy after one trip to town. I know what the outside of a dirty car looks like but I knew nothing about air filters, tranny and differential fluids needing to be cleaner than mine were! I made a fool of myself on Monday December 23, 2024 in the Windy Chevrolet showroom I blamed my salesman (who no longer works there) for not informing me about the maintenance costs etc. Problem is he probably did. I have A.D.H.D. and my impulse control is a sad joke. OK, enough about me. Aaron in servicing was very kind to me. He did not laugh at me. He did not make me feel stupid as I was crying a lot, but I was really cold because I walked from the bi Mart and my mom died last January and I am still mourning and I just moved to the woods from Seattle . I’ve had a cabin in Cle Elum for 30 years living here is a whole different ball game HUGE adjustment. At this time, I would like to extend an apology to the gentleman inside the Windy Chevrolet dealership for my immaturity. They have gorgeous cars available to buy absolute stunning vehicles. The gal in the service department is a sweetheart too. If Aaron had not been so calming, kind and INTELLIGENT and understanding that I needed to learn about my car I don’t know what I would have done. Ok fresh start Happy New Year to everyone at the super cool Windy Chevrolet in beautiful Ellensburg Washington. Sincerely and thank you kindly Nancy Doyle More
