I responded on 1/11/25. My response was: "Trade out? What, exactly, does this mean? This December 2022 transaction with Windy Chevrolet has negatively impacted my family and our finances for two years, and that is putting it lightly. The only trade out option that makes any sense should not cost me a dime. Again, this Chevrolet Captiva has been sitting dead in my driveway since March 8, 2023."

It is Windy Chevrolets lack of responsibility that is most vexing. They did not pay for the tow that was needed as my car died less than three miles from leaving the dealership. I also lost a days work as the loaner was not all-wheel drive and it was snowing. I transport children in State care. Not once did anyone apologize for the inconvenience or the added expense. Why should it cost the customer when I paid for a service that Windy Chevrolet failed to perform?

I did check into your comment regarding the tow into the dealership, you have roadside assistance through GM and that's a service at no cost to you for any future needs. Please push the blue OnStar button and allow the operator to assist. We only have a select number of vehicles in our loaner status to meet the demand, your vehicle is in full warranty and we try to accommodate everyone's needs. We did share with you this and tried to give the best solutions regarding the situation. Please know all of our customers are important and its our number one priority to make sure we do everything possible every customer.

I beg to differ. My experience with Windy Chevrolets service department was, at best, an exercize in disregard. If I had been told to call on-star, I would have. Your service manager told me to have the car towed. Period. Had he cared enough to tell me to use on-star, the expense would not have been billed to my insurance. At the very least the customer service at Windy Chevrolet has MUCH room for improvement. No one cared enough to tell me i could use onstar!

Please dont make it sound as if Windy Chevrolets employees - specifically the service manager- had any interest in a good out come. My car was not in for repairs. Only routine maintenance. It was returned to me in non working condition. I would encourage others to consider Windy Chevrolets lack of concern, inability to be accountable and misrepresentation of my complaint a good reason NOT to do business with you.
