I took my Ram 1500 in for replacement wheel bearings which I provided. Upon their inspection I was told that the parts were wrong and that they could order me new ones. The price would be with parts a which I provided. Upon their inspection I was told that the parts were wrong and that they could order me new ones. The price would be with parts and labor over 750.00. I declined. I went into pickup my truck and was told by one of the service writers,that they had removed the right side tire and that this is when they had discovered it was the wrong part. I then was handed a bill for for 78.44. Now I understand that I used rack time and fully expected to pay something, but when I asked about labor time, I was told that they had two techs working on it for 45 mins each. 1.5 hours to remove one tire and put it back on? When i questioned him on this the manager spoke up and said they had removed both tires and started disassembling the wheel hub (5 Bolts). I was confused as to why the technician paperwork did not reflect what the service manager was stating. Which also differed from what the service writer was saying. I quickly came to the conclusion that I was obviously being victimized by a company that lacks moral ethics in their business dealings. I agreed to pay,and informed them that they would never receive another dime of my money. This is when my discoveries became amazing to me. Upon entering my truck I discovered a totally soaked front seat. I went back into to question this and was told, "well when the Technician opened the door some ice must have fell in." which was obviously completely false due to the strong cleaner chemical smell that was permeating throughout my cab. Thanks for taking care of my property and being a decent human being by simply removing the ice. I also noticed with the fair amount of brake dust that was on my wheels it was evident that no one had even touched the lugs on the two tires. I took my truck up the street to Hondru Dodge and they put the exact parts that I provided on my truck for a total bill of 300.00. THANK YOU HONDRU, for displaying the courteousness and strong moral fiber that we should all expect from local businesses. More
I was referred to this dealership for its body repair shop by my insurance co. We were originally greeted with friendly service however, that changed when my car was finished. My radio and clock worked fine prior to the body shop work but was not working when I picked up my car. Also I had a cosmetic engine cover that was missing when my car was finished. When I addressed this problem with Wissler, we were told the insurance company may not cover the radio, as if they were not responsible and that my car did not come with an engine cover. I was given an appointment date to bring my car back to have the radio looked at and told that the radio would not cause any problems. The radio flashed on and off even after I turned the car off, causing my battery to die. I am a medical professional so I had to work on Thanksgiving Day. The dead battery caused me to have to take my husband's car and leave my family stranded until my workday ended. I had to contact the insurance company and file a complaint before Wissler would help us. To date, I still do not have the cover that was on my engine. We were treated like we were being dishonest and I will never use this company again. More
Buying a car is not easy. It's a big investment and takes time to make a wise decision. The people at Wissler's are friendly and trustworthy. Wissler has saved me alot of money on my repairs bills. Bought my car there and family has been dealing with them for many years. Have always been satisfied with service. The only negative I have is when I was getting tires, a few weeks ago, and was waiting on my for many years. Have always been satisfied with service. The service guys are usually very good with communication and keeping me in the loop, but this time I was left waiting for 3 hours with no word on how it was all going. The extra time was spent replacing bolts that were damaged during the alignment. Wouldn't have been half as frustrated with the wait if someone had said, "Hey this is going on..." More
I took my 2001 jeep Cherokee in to check on an oil leak. The staff recommended they clean up the engine area and add a dye to the oil to determine cause of the leak. They were able to make sure a courtesy vehicle was available for my use (at no cost to me) during the time they would have my jeep. This is a service that is not usually available from other service garages. When the jeep was completed it was clean inside the engine compartment and passenger area. The customer service desk is one of the friendliest and most courteous ones I have had to deal with. I actually enjoy taking my jeep there. More
Can always get an appointment that is of my choosing. Service Supervisor will inform if they find a more serious problem before they do the work, & the cost to perform the job work. Go the extra mile,receive a discount for having their name plate placed on the car, free car wash, receive coupons in the mail, clean place to stay while waiting for service to be complete, free rental if you drop your car off the night before the scheduled appointment, only have to return the rental with a quarter tank of gas. I have purchased 3 new vehicles at Wissler Motors. All the employees are very friendly. Everything is explained to me before and after the service is done. The waiting area is well kept. We have dealt with Wissler's for approximately 20 years, buying/trading new and pre-owned cars. They have serviced those same cars (and others) and the work has always been the highest quality. We have had buying/trading new and pre-owned cars. They have serviced those same cars (and others) and the work has always been the highest quality. We have had no problems with any of the personnel in sales, body shop or service. We have been dealt with fairly, received fair value for trades and paid fair price for purchases. The showroom, shop areas, and grounds have always been clean. (You could eat off the shop floor.) We have never been dissatisfied with any aspect of the dealership. More
