My daughter purchased a vehicle from this place, when she was ready to plate the vehicle it became glaringly obvious that the title was not in with the sales documents.A call was placed inquiring as to why there was no title and a return call requested, 2 hours later no call, keep in mind this vehicle was a cash purchase,stopping by on the way home I had the misfortune of speaking to" Phil" title will be here tomorrow...ok sure, its not our faulty, didn't we purchase this vehicle from his place of business?, I don't know if the title will be here tomorrow or not, I am guessing not, but we shall see. This operation had 45 days to acquire the title, it appears that their motto or business plan is to simply get the money and see what happens. Due to the give a damn less attitude I received today I would strongly NOT EVER recommend this rip off establishment to any potential shoppers. I

I have purchased cars from Kotby's for many years and have been using them for service for the last 5 years. Visiting the dealership is always a positive experience and my Subaru is very well taken care of. An excellent car and an excellent dealer. They offer rides to and from the dealership for people having their car serviced, which means I don't have to rely on friends to get the job done.

We have a 2005 Outback Sedan w/ 6 cylinder. In 40K we have had 3 new motors in the car. The Factory motor failed at about 32K and was blamed on a knocking rod. The sound increased over time and we took it in to have it looked at. Otherwise the car drove fine. It took a month to get the car back and we had to call Subaru Corp. to get a rental car for the period. They ordered parts to "rebuild" before they had torn the motor down and later discovered the damage was too extensive to repair and they installed a short block. While in the shop they damaged the radiator and had to replace that. Less than a year and less than 10K later the new motor fails again leaving us stranded on the highway. This time it was the oil pump. This time they decided to put in a long block and it only took them 3 weeks. But again we had to make numerous calls and do all the leg work to get a rental as the dealer was unwilling to assist. When I went to pick up the car I didn't get it off the lot before noticing a sound that indicated the car was still not running right. They diagnosed as "one" of the two catalytic converters and ordered the part and instructed us to go ahead and drive the car. When my wifre dropped off the car after the part arrived the Service Manager told her that there was "something fishy" about the second failure and that he had his own theory as to the cause and called Subaru to let them know. He said that the oil was clean and insinuated that we had let it run low and then filled it after the failure. However, b/c it was less than 10K old though it should not have had any leaks, nor should it have burned any oil). I went back and picked up the car that night as we were no longer going to let them repair anything of ours after that. They also had nothing to say to me other than here are your keys. Evidently they are willing to treat women with less respect then men. We took the car to Cheyenne 50 minutes away and they diagnosed that the car needed both catalytic converters replaced, that the car should not be driven, and that it also needed an A/C clutch bearing, none of which was caught by the crack sqaud at Kotby's. They also suggested taht Kotby's had misdiagnosed the initial failure and were simply trying to deflect the responsibility from themselves. I also had Kotby's replace a right front drove axle on a 1996 Legacy with 100K about one year ago. I changed the oil and noticed this last week that the CV boot was torn completely in two. I checked my bill and I was not charged, at least explicitly, for a new boot, but given the age and miles on the existing one it likely should have been replaced w/ the new axle.
