Service tech talked me out of replacing my 12V battery by having it tested instead, showing it functioning at 100%. Also talked me out of paying for a tire rotation because that would be free at the busines having it tested instead, showing it functioning at 100%. Over many purchase and service interactions with Spartan Toyota, I have had problems with many of the interactions. Multiple times they have indicated that I needed repairs that other experts have told me Toyota, I have had problems with many of the interactions. Multiple times they have indicated that I needed repairs that other experts have told me we're unnecessary. They sold me a new car, took a deposit and we're unable to deliver it (probably because they sold it to another customer). Then they would not return my deposit until I had to speak with the general manager and then go to the dealership to pick up the check after they failed to send it as promised. On our last purchase from Spartan (through the Costco buying service) they "accidentally" tried to overcharge us by $240. In addition to everything bad about them, Toyota claims that these issues are not something that involves them, so they are not a source of support. Spartan Toyota is not to be trusted and should be avoided. More
