At the dealership everyone was friendly, but I was not allowed to test drive my truck because it was blocked by other trucks. I purchased it in Baxley and the salesman (Ryan) said they would deliver it to allowed to test drive my truck because it was blocked by other trucks. I purchased it in Baxley and the salesman (Ryan) said they would deliver it to me in Valdosta on a Rollback and he would be with them to get everything activated in the truck. He also stated he would call me the next business day to set everything up. None of these things happened. Someone from the Woody Folsom dealership drove it to Valdosta, so I didn’t even get to drive it until it had over 100 miles on it. It clearly was never detailed and missing at least a quarter tank of gas. I noticed some damages, such as scratches and cuts throughout the interior and dash. The delivery driver walked around the truck with me as I took pictures of the damages. They contacted the salesman to let him know I was not happy with what I found. He assured me all the damages I found would be fixed and said it would probably be next week when they could take care of it or hire a local company to fix everything. It has been weeks now. I sent text messages, emails, and even used the “Contact Us” on the Woody Folsom homepage. I didn’t get a response from the dealership’s homepage. Ryan confirmed on the texts and emails that they will take care of everything and he would call me back to set it up. At this point I feel like a bill collector trying to get in touch with the salesman to honor the repair agreement. My overall experience with the dealership would be everyone is friendly when you are buying a vehicle from them, but the service after the sell is terrible. More

Please do yourself a favor a stay away from this dealership! This place wreaks of the classic, toxic car salesmen that we all hate to deal with. I have never been lied to and misled by anyone as m dealership! This place wreaks of the classic, toxic car salesmen that we all hate to deal with. I have never been lied to and misled by anyone as much as I was when attempting to purchase a vehicle from Woody Folsom Ford! My experience is outlined below........... 1. The dealership had the exact vehicle I was looking for (2021 Kia Telluride SX, Wolf Grey with Nightfall Edition package. It was listed with 18,000 miles. The issue was they had the vehicle listed off the charts at over $58,000 which was $12,000-14,000 higher than anyone else throughout the entire United States. When I brought this to the salesperson's (Aaryn) attention complete with reports from KBB and Edmunds I was fed every line in the book (well we have had to pay top dollar for trades the last two years, you are looking at trade in values and not retail values when every report I sent to her specifically stated RETAIL VALUES). She offered to sell me the car today for $56,000. Keep in mind this is a vehicle with a trade in value of $41,000! 2. The very next day I look back on the website and the dealership now has the vehicle listed at $49,000. Obviously, someone took my research and adjusted the price accordingly. So, I contacted Woody Folsom again and dealt with another salesperson (Madison). We negotiated back and forth and agreed to a $47,000 purchase price on the vehicle. I was beyond excited as this was THE vehicle I was looking for. To secure the vehicle through the loan process so that no one else could purchase it out from underneath me, I was told I would need to put a $1000 deposit down on the Telluride which I did. I sent her a copy of my license and credit card. The deal was done. 3. I was then contacted by the sales manager, Anthony, to process the $1000 deposit on my AMEX as he could not read the code on the copy I sent Madison. We discussed delivery of the vehicle and he said at most in two days the vehicle would be delivered to my driveway. The $1,000 deposit was made and I spent the rest of the afternoon with my credit union securing the loan. 4. The next morning I completed the loan application, met with the loan officer and contacted Anthony to check on delivery of the vehicle. He assured me that the vehicle would be delivered to me that day. After lunch, I had still not heard from the credit union or Anthony concerning the Telluride. The bank was waiting on the bill of sale from the dealership. Anthony said it was tied up in the finance department, but he was on it, and it would be taken care of. 5. At 3:00 that afternoon I reach out again. At this point Anthony told me that the Telluride had just reached the dealership and he was taking possession of it now. He had no idea where the vehicle had been as his logistics department handles all of that and that was completely normal with a dealership as large at Woody Folsom. So, at this point I had been negotiating with two salespeople and a sales manager on a vehicle that was not even on their lot! Remember Aaryn offered to sell it to me that day for low, low price of $56,000. In fact, after reaching an agreement with Madison I put a $1000 deposit to hold a vehicle that was not even on their lot!!!! 6. I asked Anthony for photos and the mileage as I was obviously concerned as no one apparently knew the whereabouts of a $47,000 - $58,000 vehicle. The Telluride now had nearly 25,000 miles and had scratches, dents, chips, a severely stained back seat and a peeling black trim that was going to need to be replaced! Absolutely nothing like the pictures that were presented on their website. The pictures on the website showed this vehicle in flawless condition! 7. So now we go from having the vehicle promised to be delivered today to now not being able to guarantee delivery until middle to end of next week as they had to wait on the trim to be delivered and then have it installed! When I questioned Anthony about all of this, his response was that this is why he does not like to work up deals without him having seen the vehicle!!!! Excuse me? You promised me delivery today. You worked out a price, had me go through financing, etc. for a vehicle you had no idea where it was located and in fact you had never laid eyes on! When I told him to cancel the deal and refund my deposit, he was quick to let me know that this was fine as he already had another person waiting to purchase the vehicle. Bottom line, please stay away from this dealership. Sleezy, lying, unethical, crooks are the individuals I had to endure over this entire nightmare of a purchase. Please save yourself a huge headache take your business elsewhere. This dealership is trash! More
Buying a new truck from Woody Folsom was the worst decision I have made in a long time. They refused to honor my warranty, which resulted in a wreck that could have killed my wife and cost me over $2 decision I have made in a long time. They refused to honor my warranty, which resulted in a wreck that could have killed my wife and cost me over $20,000 for repairs to my truck. My wife and I bought a new 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 from Woody Folsom last year in Baxley, Georgia. Within days, I noticed that the new Michelin tires on the truck were vibrating violently. I took it to Spence Chevrolet in Thomasville, which was much closer than Baxley to my job as a plantation manager. Spence ran a standard ‘lateral runout test” on all 4 tires and determined that 3 of the 4 were defective and could not be balanced. Two of the tires were in the “Red” zone and one was in the “Yellow” zone. One tire tested out at 66 lbs., twice the acceptable limit. The service manager at Spence sent the written test results to Woody Folsom together with a note saying the tires were defective, dangerous and should be replaced immediately. When Woody Folsom sent a wrecker to take the truck back to Baxley, I assumed the tires would be replaced under my new tire warranty which provides coverage “against defects in material or workmanship under the bumper to bumper warranty coverage.” But when I picked up the truck, I found that Woody Folsom had simply rotated the tires and was refusing to do anything about them. The service manager told me, “These tires are good. Whoever told you they are bad doesn’t know what the xxxx they are talking about.” Before I could replace the tires on my own, my wife was driving the truck on a clear, paved road when the most defective tire (66 lbs.) exploded, sending the truck into a ditch at approximately 45 mph. The wreck caused serious injury to my wife and damages in excess of $20,000 to the truck, including the replacement of a bent frame. I was without a truck for 4 months while trying to raise money for the repairs. There was no insurance for any of this. My wife is still undergoing treatment for her injuries. After the accident, I researched online to a consumer website regarding the same tires that came on my truck. Several of the complaints involved unexplained blowouts of new Michelin tires, just like mine. I would advise anyone not to buy a truck or car from Woody Folsom. They will not stand behind the sale or the new vehicle or new tire warranty. You may suffer like I have suffered. My only option now is to file a lawsuit against Woody Folsom, General Motors and Michelin Tire Company. More

It has not even been put on the diagnostic machine to see what is wrong with it! The sales department is awesome! The service department is so backed up that they told me I was number 120 in line. Yes, that's 119 vehicles waiting in line before mine. I cannot get a loaner, they are all spoken for. I can't get a straight answer from them about anything. I have been lied to, been ignored, and now I am going to social media to share my experience with Woody Folsum dealership! More
