Had an appointment at 10:30 to install side door panel on driver side and to install side rails on my new truck, Installer never showed up to install them Rhonda apolgized over and over again.She gave me a r driver side and to install side rails on my new truck, Installer never showed up to install them Rhonda apolgized over and over again.She gave me a rental car to go home and she would call me when the job was done. Had to fight on the price of side rails which was already given and it toally changed when we got there but it was corrected and given to the price that was quoted. not really happy with them they look very cheap. Being a car buyer who has never went through a larger dealership before, I didn't know what to expect when walking onto the lot. I was hoping to find something in my price range that I would be happy wit dealership before, I didn't know what to expect when walking onto the lot. I was hoping to find something in my price range that I would be happy with. As I started looking around, Rick came and introduced himself and offered his assistance. His help made the process go so much faster, he was very knowledgeable about what would be in my payment price range and he made me feel comfortable and less worried about being "taken for a ride" for a lack of a better term. Being able to narrow down my options really made the decision making process less overwhelming. He was very personable and friendly throughout the entire process and made me feel happy that I chose to shop with Younger. He showed me around the dealership and acquainted me with the service area for future visits and made sure to check in with me while we were waiting for everything to get settled. The entire staff that I encountered were very friendly and outgoing. I can honestly say that this is one of the most welcoming establishments I've ever been in. Cheryl Taylor was really awesome and made the finance part of the buying process go very fast and smooth. I loved everything about my experience, it was the happiest time I ever had giving somebody a lot of money. I would recommend Younger to EVERYONE I know looking to buy a car! Why set a appointment time? How long should it take to get the oil changed? I was there for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Yes it was free and what should I want for something free? So I think I should have someone respect my time and do what ever they can to get me in and out fast and with a smile on my face! More
Overall, our experience at Younger was very poor. From the beginning, we had difficulties getting inventory and pricing information. The website did not accurately reflect inventory on the lot. Most dealers provide internet pricing on their website or by request. This was not so with Younger. When we visited the dealership, Tony Pattillo was very helpful and courteous in showing us the vehicle (4Runner Limited). When it became time to negotiate the deal, the sales manager, Mark Duvall, was very arrogant and condescending. He is the stereotypical car salesman that everyone loves to hate. The whole negotiation process was a game where Mark made it look like he was working with the Mercedes dealer next door on taking our trade. As we were leaving, Tony came running behind us saying the Mercedes dealer "just called" and were willing to pay $500 more for the trade and Mark was willing to come down $400 on the price of the vehicle.....too little too late. We went to Koons Westminster Toyota and purchased more vehicle for less money. The employees were all friendly/courteous and they actually made it an enjoyable process. We have bought two new toyotas in the last 3 years....one through Koons and the other through Fitzgerald in Chambersburg. I would recommend either of those dealerships. We will never visit Younger again. More
This was my first time with the online appointment and it was great!! Very user friendly and I also liked the appointment confirmation. I arrived early for my appointment Rhonda took my information and 45 minutes later service was done and I was out the door. The only request I had was to have my van washed and it was explained to me the door wasn't working, but that all I had to do was give Rhonda a call at anytime at a later date and she would schedule me in. My husband and I have experienced just stopping in without an appointement for service and now scheduling an appointment. Both times we have delt with Rhonda and she has excellent people skills and by listening to her talk to other customers she is considerate, polite and very willing to explain situations and give solutions. Can not say enough about how well were were taken care of by Rhonda. She seemed to go out of her way to make sure we received great care. To include getting parts and installation of the parts several days a by Rhonda. She seemed to go out of her way to make sure we received great care. My whole experience was excellent and Phil had a lot to do with it. He answered all my questions in a timely fashion, was very friendly and I could tell he actually cared for me as a person and not just a do with it. He did not rush me on the test drive, the selection of the model I selected or the paperwork. He explained all the paperwork to me, the choices I was looking at and all the paperwork. This was my third transaction with Younger Toyota, and each time the level of service continues to increase. I never felt rushed, or pressured to buy. Phil always followed up with me to present new information whenever available, and he just has a way of making you feel like you are important! Dave Carroll, the General Manager personally came over to meet me as soon as I walked in the door. He continually thanked me just for coming down to give Younger Toyota the opportunity to possibly meet my automotive needs, and he just seemed to downright care. When it came time to discussing the financial aspect of my car buying experience, Dave was quick to make sure that I was getting myself into a situation which I was both capable and comfortable with being in. Most dealerships could care less about people's position financially, and whether or not they were getting into a vehicle they could actually afford. My wife has always said that purchasing a vehicle from Younger is both easy, and stress free. That is why we are Younger FOR LIFE! More
