There was no negotiating on price of vehicle, this is what we'll allow on trade, went straight into completing paperwork. I gave a check for 7 thousand dollars and received a receipt marked for 2 thousa what we'll allow on trade, went straight into completing paperwork. I gave a check for 7 thousand dollars and received a receipt marked for 2 thousand dollars. Only one set of keys was given me at time of delivery....I gave 2 sets with trade. I made arrangements to have fog lights installed prior to delivery, but was told they had to order parts and gave me a service date. When my wife brought the truck in for the service, she was there for about 45 minutes and was then told no-one had ordered the parts. It then became the blame game with the service advisor stating the salesman was to order the parts, etc. It has always been my experience in the past that when a service is scheduled thru an advisor, it is taken care of. This didn't happen. So I waited an entire week for a service, another trip into Hagerstown, for a service that wasn't important enough to make happen. I stopped going to Younger once before due to constant screw-ups in service. I came back once again in an emergency situation and was treated super by Larry Higginbotham. I started servicing again, until Larry and other good employees were let go and I left again. Now this, I have had it with Younger! I haven't even had the courtesy of a phone call to advise resolution of THIS service screw-up. I am sorry that I made this decision to go with Younger and if I could undo the transaction, I would in a heart beat. I should have waited and gone to Apple Valley in Martinsburg, where one is treated as a special customer. Yes, I am very pissed at what transpired and will guarantee that Younger will not get another chance to stick it to me ever again. W. Larry Shumaker More
Younger Toyota seems to me to be a very good dealership to buy from. They offered a very reasonable price which lined right up with the Edmunds.com Fair Market Value price. Also they offered reasonable mo to buy from. They offered a very reasonable price which lined right up with the Edmunds.com Fair Market Value price. Also they offered reasonable money for my trade-in. Other dealerships I visited (i.e. Sharrett VW) only offered $13500 (probably could have gotten them up to $14500) while Younger offered me $15,500 and I got them up to $16,200. If you go the "internet" route, Stephanie Hudson (internet manager) will give you their "internet price" for a car which should be a good fair price (verify it on Edmunds.com Fair Market Value tool). She will then put you with one of their salespeople. Make sure you get someone who has been there a while (check out their sales staff profiles on their website). My salesman was new and was fired/quit a couple weeks after I bought, which doesn't matter much now but its nice to be able to contact your salesman if you have problems later. It would have been nice to have a better salesman during the deal, wasn't surprised that this guy isn't there now. Another note: Stephanie is very nice but she is a manager/deal-closer so she may be able to make your deal better if you haggle, but she's also there to talk you into doing the deal if you're on the fence. Also I think she is very busy so she probably won't return phone calls and may send you "generic" emails after you've talked to her. I think she also handles internet for their used car and Mercedes dealerships too, plus dealing with yahoos that aren't really looking to buy. My advice: get the internet price from Stephanie then work directly with a GOOD salesman. They had to get my car from a dealership in Ohio which took a few days. I did not get my deal in writing (dumb rookie mistake!) and I put down a $500 deposit, so I felt very very nervous until the car arrived. However I have to say they did NOT change the trade-in they agreed to or the price of the car. I was quite relieved that they were that honorable and didn't resort to nasty tactics car dealers are famous for!!! The only problem really was that Toyota lowered its rebate it was offering so I had to pay additional $250 and I couldn't get the dealership to make up for that. Apparently I had already squeezed every dime out of them that I was going to get! Also they already absorbed the cost of transporting the car from Ohio. One other note, got door side moulding installed. Ed Key of the service department was very professional and answered all my questions. Highs: new car price, trade in value, friendliness of staff, knowledgability of service staff Lows: salesman was nice enough but rather unprofessional and didn't help with setup of bluetooth and xm radio (but i think they do have mostly good salespeople there) One last piece of advice: If a dealer gives you a really low trade-in offer saying its from their "black book" tell them that is B.S.! Black Book is a dealer sponsored service that gives them something to justify low-ball trade-in values. Kelly Blue Book and NADA and Edmunds.com will give you reasonable amounts for your trade (don't let a salesman tell you that Black Book is more "accurate" or that KBB or NADA are sponsored by banks to increase loan values). Sharrett (not Younger) pulled this trick with me. More
Younger Toyota Motors was a pleasure to work with. My sales person, Eddie Howlett was personable but professional. I had explained to him what I wanted in a car and he showed me several models. I test dr sales person, Eddie Howlett was personable but professional. I had explained to him what I wanted in a car and he showed me several models. I test drove them, asked questions, got answers. BUT it was the small details about the car that Mr. Howlett showed me that really helped me decide which car I really was comfortable with and would meet my needs. So I chose the Rave4 with 4 wheel drive to get throught the Garrett Co. winter weather, cargo space to hold my bicycle, skis, my husband climbing equipment. Not to mention the comfortable drive and attention to detail in the driver and passanger section, dash board easy to read, controls easy to use. Best of all the car fits me!! Oh yes the price. Mr. Howlett went over every number with me( nothng hidden) gave me great trade ins on my 2 vehciles and came up with a very agreeable price. The dealership then had to find my burgandy Rave4. The call was put out, a car was found but when the driver went to pick it up it had lot damage. Younger dismissed that car and found another that was fresh and clean. Mr. Howlett explained that I would never know there was damage to the car BUT they would never sell a car with lot damage to a customer. My car came in. Mr Howlett reviewed everything in the car with me until I was comfortable. I drove away, a happy customer ! Little did I realize that I had left 5 of my favorite CD's in one of the trade in cars. Not to worry again Mr. Howlett took care of me. He found the CD's and contacted me. Excellent service !!! More

At the time of m youngers used car department. Mark and his team took the time to show me several used vehciles until I found the perfect car for me. At the time of my purchase, I was in a dilema and just was in a car accident. I had to find a new car quickly and I was unsure as to what I really wanted. After test driving several new and used cars, Mark and his team gave me a great deal for my my 02 Nissan Altima. I love the car! And I love the fact that I no longer have to pay for oil changes and car washes as long as I own the car! This is an added bonus.. Thanks again.... *Beverly Larmore* Martinsburg, WV More

Reliability was a m Younger Toyota had online photos and info for their cars. Other dealerships near us did not have Toyota certified pre-owned cars. Reliability was a major issue for us. All the sales associates we spoke with were curteous and helpful. We got a great deal on a year-old car and they offered us better loan rates than our credit union had offered. The package we chose includes bumper-to-bumper warrentee for 100,000 miles. They took our trade-in car as the downpayment;even gave us more than bluebook value for it. We were in and out with the car within an hour and a half including getting finance papers signed and touring the service facility. Routine oil changes are free for the life of the car and they have a clean, comfortable waiting room with a popcorn machine and shlushee machine...great for my kids when I travel to have service done. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Younger Toyota to anyone. I would drive the hour to get there to buy my next car. More
