Ken Murphy is great I love Ken. He has already sold me 2 cars and knows what type of car I'm interested in. He always keeps an eye out for me and calls me if a car comes I love Ken. Younger Toyota (Poor) Service Dept. Loses Loyal Customer I purchased a new 2012 Toyota Tundra from this dealership and it had been my go-to dealership for major service and repairs on my 2008 Toyota Sienna a I purchased a new 2012 Toyota Tundra from this dealership and it had been my go-to dealership for major service and repairs on my 2008 Toyota Sienna and my son's 1999 Lexus RX-300 despite the fact that we're over 75 miles away. We recently had the dealership do a complete "World-Class Multi-Point Inspection" in conjunction with various maintenance repairs that were needed on the Lexus to the tune of about $1500. The day after we got the vehicle back, we noticed strange noises emanating from the rear wheels. We took it to our local repair facility and they advised that the rear rotors were so badly rusted that they needed replaced, along with the brake pads. This should have been obvious had the mechanic at Younger pulled the rear wheels off the vehicle. We contacted the Service Manager, Tony Pearson, who asked us to bring a copy of the repair invoice for his review, but when we dropped it off, he wasn't there and a week later, we still haven't heard from him. I've sent him two separate e-mails, neither of which have elicited any response. Now, they not only lost out on the whatever profit they would have made by repairing the rear brakes in the first place, but they have also lost a customer (due more to the service manager's failure to respond than to the mechanic's sloppy safety inspection). University Toyota in Morgantown, WV will now be our new go-to Toyota dealership when I'm shopping for a new vehicle or need any significant service and repairs. I copied this review in an e-mail to Younger Toyota GM, Dave Carroll, and that resulted in a message being left on my answering machine from Tony Pearson apologizing for not responding to my e-mails with an indication that they somehow ended up in his SPAM folder. He also mentioned that he never saw the brake repair invoice that was requested and left on his desk. He asked I call him back to discuss the matter, but after trying to return his call and leaving a voicemail message for him, I have yet to receive a response. At this point, I'm not really expecting one, but it serves to reinforce my previous assessment. More

I have referred I have been buying vehicles from Younger Motorcars In Hagerstown Md. For 15 yrs. Or longer and the dealership is absolutely the best! I have referred several people to them and they've all been above 100% not only satisfied but HAPPY. I recently had gone to another dealership, in Frederick, it was one of the worst mistakes Ive ever made. It had been a nightmare. The entire experience was awful and caused so much anxiety and stress. I went to Younger in Hagerstown and knew if anyone could help, it would be them. After apologizing for going anywhere else to begin with, I asked if there was anything I could do. I had just about given up on any help out there after trying everything I could to resolve this matter and being an emotional person to begin with, the tears flew when I heard "let me see what we can do" . They not only helped me, the person helping me went way above and beyond anything I'd ever experienced! That person was Ken Murphy. He went so far beyond good customer service that I wish all were like him. He listened and actually heard all of my concerns and what I really needed and wanted in a vehicle. He told me the pros and cons for my specific needs in a vehicle and advised me which options would be best. I never once felt rushed, pressured or like a bother. He is everything anyone needs and wants in excellent customer service. When It was time to finalize the purchase of my awseome Toyota, the finance manager, Matthew Hull, couldn't have made me feel any more comfortable and in good hands. He made sure that all of my questions were answered and explained things so clearly. He also went above and beyond good customer service. He was very kind and cared to make sure I had everything taken care of.. This dealership should be so proud to have people who truly make the customers feel cared about and not just a number. I will never go to another car dealership again. My 1 nightmare going elsewhere will be the last. Thank you Mr. Murphy and Mr. Hull for everything! Extraordinary car-buying experience! I stopped by the dealership for an oil change and decided to upgrade my 2014 base model corolla to a 2016 corolla which includes all of the features I I stopped by the dealership for an oil change and decided to upgrade my 2014 base model corolla to a 2016 corolla which includes all of the features I've always wanted. I was informed of current specials on 2016 corollas; however, I was not pressured by staff to purchase a new vehicle at any moment during my car-buying experience. JD Chrisp was patient while I decided on the vehicle that was most suitable for me. Thanks to JD Chrisp and the other staff at Younger, my car-buying experience was extraordinary and virtually painless. More

Our Salesman, J.D. and his manager were knowledgeable and not over bearing. Tony Mills in Finance was friendly and great to deal with also. All staff were efficient and they moved things along without long delays as had the previous dealership. We have recommended them to other friends and are looking forward to dealing with the service department. More
