Purchased a TOYOTA CERTIFIED 2011 RAV4 on 2/28/14 and was assured by Jackie that the vehicle had been inspected by the highest Toyota standards. Tire pressure light came on and I returned it the next day to assured by Jackie that the vehicle had been inspected by the highest Toyota standards. Tire pressure light came on and I returned it the next day to service on 3/1/14 and was told that the spare tire sensor was bad and would have to be ordered. Scheduled service for 3/7/14. The first time that I tried to use the CD player it would not accept a CD and I reported this when I took the vehicle in on 3/7/14. Received a call and was told that a tire had a puncture in the sidewall and that a tire and the CD player would have to be ordered. Was told that I would have to pay about $330. Could not find out which tire had the puncture. Told Scott that I should not have to pay anything since this was a certified vehicle and he said he would transfer me to either a sales or service manager. Scott came back to the phone and said that someone would give me a call. Got a call from Scott and he said that the puncture was in the spare and that everything would be covered. Somehow a tire that they did not have earlier was put on the spare and the pressure light alarm was corrected. Guess what, the tire pressure light came on again and the vehicle was taken back on Monday, 3/10/14. The tire pressure light was reset again without any explanation as to what is the problem. Multiple trips to Younger, multiple excuses and still another, if and when the CD player arrives. So much for Younger and their ability to offer a truly Certified Vehicle. More
This is my first time owning a Toyota and I am very pleased. Seth Nears was an excellent salesmen. He answered all questions I had. I saw a particular truck on Autotrader that i was very interested in purchasing. I inquired about the truck and was promptly phoned by Ken Murphy in Sales. Ken was very knowledgeable and helped put me at ease with the potential for buying a truck located 6 hours away from my home in TN. Ken worked with me on my trade and the price of the truck. I agreed to the purchase and traveled to MD to pick up my used truck. Upon arrival i was greeted by not only Ken but a very friendly staff in general. The trip and purchase could not have gone any better. I have had "not so great" experiences with dealers in the past and i am very pleased to recommend Ken Murphy and the Younger dealership. Buying a truck out of state was definitely a new experience but Ken and the group at Younger definitely made it a good experience. Thank you all. More
My daughter recently purchased a used Highlander through Buck and then I purchased a new/demo through Buck at Younger Toyota. We both love our Highlanders and working with Allan (Buck) Buckalew was the bes Buck and then I purchased a new/demo through Buck at Younger Toyota. We both love our Highlanders and working with Allan (Buck) Buckalew was the best car buying experience I have ever had. He found us both the cars we were looking for in the price range we asked for and made sure we were well taken care of through the purchase process. My husband had a super-charger kit ($6500+) installed on his 2008 Toyota Tacoma last week. Scott Davies graciously made all the arrangements for my husband. The work was done very timely, even during a bad weather week. We were given all the details of the job and called very promptly. I purchased my 2008 4 Runner from Younger in January 2009 but my husband's truck was purchased in Cumberland, when we had a Toyota dealership. We really like Toyota products and intend to make all future purchases from your dealership in Hagerstown and we highly recommend it to family and friends. It is a first class business! More
My wife and I came to Younger Toyota about 2 weeks to look for a 4WD vehicle after losing ours in a car accident. We met with Jackie Hessong and asked to test drive approximately 3-4 vehicles. Jackie immediately went and provided us with the keys for the test drive. We never felt pressured during our test drives of the vehicles and Jackie was able to answer or find the answers to the questions that we had. After the test drive, we said that we would go home and talk it over and we would be back. After visiting a few other dealerships and being extremely disappointed with their customer service, we decided to go back and see Jackie at Younger the following week. Upon arriving at the dealership, we asked to look at two more Jeep vehicles that we had narrowed it down to from the week prior that we visited. After some discussion, we decided to go with the Jeep Liberty. Jackie then recommended a Jeep Commander that they had just received on the lot. We took the Jeep Commander for a test drive and liked the vehicle. We decided to go with the Commander. The negotiating started off a little rocky, but we eventually agreed on an acceptable price. We were on a strict schedule due to the fact that I had to be at work in approximately 2.5 hours. Jackie helped expedite the process and made sure that the process ran as smooth as possible for the both of us. After selecting the vehicle, we were out and on our way within about 2 hours. Much less time than I have spent at other dealerships. The reason that I gave "overall experience" and "quality of work" a "4" rating is because of 2 issues. When the Jeep was sold to us, we were provided with a CARFAX report that said the Jeep had an outstanding recall on it that had not yet been repaired. Jackie assured us and included in the contract that Younger would take care of the problem at no charge, but it would have been better if there was no issue before it was placed on the lot. Second, after only having the vehicle for 2 days, I was coming home from work and the entire control panel and lighting display started to flash rapidly and began to cut out on me. It felt like I was losing power to my Jeep. After the flashing stopped, the EPS/BAS stayed on and would not go away. The vehicle began to run very rough and I was concerned to continue. I decided to take it easy and slowly make my way home. I got home around 615p and immediately called younger and was told that the service department was closed. As a police officer, I need to be at work no matter what. Weather conditions can't be an issue for me, so that's why the Commander was purchased. After only having the Jeep for a few days, I already have to make my first service appointment to get these two issues resolved. With shift work and no extra vehicles sitting around, this is a huge inconvenience. The sales experience was great, Jackie was great and I would definitely buy from her again. Let's just hope my service appointment is just as good. More

As we all know, purchasing a vehicle can be a very stressful situation, but after speaking with Justin on the phone prior to my visit to the lot, he made me feel very optimistic that I would be getting the best customer service and deal. I feel as if I have met a new friend. His sales mannerism was great. I plan on spreading the word to everyone I know to call Justin and make a purchase with Younger Toyota.
