I was told that I need new brake pads on the truck that I jsut purchased a few months ago from your store. I was told that it wasn't covered under the warrenty and I can't understand why such an expense occu jsut purchased a few months ago from your store. This is my fourth truck that I have purchased from Younger Toyota and this is the first time that this kind of expense has developed without you guys fixing it for free. I noticed the problem a week after I bought the truck, I brought it in and it was said too be fixed at no charge. I broiught it back a month later and said the problem still exhists. I was told that it would be at my expense. Secondly, I got an oil change and tire rotation this week which was great, no problems there. The custiomer service lady asked me if I wanted my truck washed, I said yes. A few minutes later she processed me through. I went to my truck and noticed that it hadn't been washed. These little things have me wondering if I should continue doing business with Younger Toyota. It's a shame because I've known Dave Carroll for quite awhile and I know that he stives to deliver 'top-notch' service. Unfortunately, the folks he has working for him seem to be dropping the ball. I am satisfied with the recent service on 6/13/12 of my 2010 Camry for oil change, tire rotation and checking other things and getting a good report my camry is GOOD! I have always asked for Rhonda Green 2010 Camry for oil change, tire rotation and checking other things and getting a good report my camry is GOOD! I have always asked for Rhonda Green-Stambaugh and she is GREAT!!! I have to say this because in my past experiences going to Younger for several years, the other guys are not as great as she is. She is always friendly, assisting with my questions, helpful in being knowledgeable of services that are needed. I like her very much as a service woman! She deserves an award! In other service experiences at Darcars and Younger Toyota service stations, I have noticed with steady observing how the service men approach many people, they tend not to be honest with a very long list of "needed services" they claim cars need this or that. This has happened to me and I have learned to hold it and go for second opinions! I believe this is a huge ripoff and I feel for the Elderly folks who believe them and end up paying huge amounts for services that may not be necessary or even not at all being done. I have a source who worked at Toyota service station as a mechanic, and stated many times the "needed services" are not even done or not even needed services AND ripping people off! I am cautious! HOW can TOYOTA do this to people for a huge profit when they already are profiting? More
If I didn't have email, I would not have been Notified of my service needs. Oil was spilled inside motor compartment, I had to clean up. Power steering fluid was down, I had to fill. How can you check brakes without topping off brake fluid? It also is down. as soon as I figure out how to remove the cap I will Top off. It's obvious with the dust on the motor cover, You didn't take a spark plug out to examine..? You just figured at 60,000 miles they needed replaced? Looks like the rain we had did the so called wash?.. What does this world class multi point inspection look at? It didn't work... When I left the dealership, my passenger side front headlight was OUT. I immediately replaced when I got home....Have receipt from advance auto for that purchase. Before I came for service I topped off my windshield washer fluid. you did not... I will remove one of the rear wheels this weekend to see if the drum was actually removed/cleaned. More
The workforce at Younger Toyota are honest and do not pressure the customers. It makes for a pleasant visit when you are car shopping or servicing your vehicle. I had my oil changed and the mechanic found a burned out back light. The service rep asked if I wanted them to change the light. I said yes. Turns out it cost $34 in labor to change a $4 light bulb. As always, the staff at Younger were exceptional. Between our two older Toyotas and my newer model, I visit the service department more than a few times a year.
