My car was scheduled for a service apt. at 10am. I asked to get the car detailed, but since it was so new, it would't need much. They said the car would be done by 12:00. I had a lot to do. Loved getting shuttled back home so I could get some work done. By 1:30, no phone call about the car. I called and asked what the hold up was. Long story, it wasn't until 3:30 in the afternoon that I got back to the dealership and got my car. I was shuttled back, again, nice service,but not if it's going to take forever to get my car back. What if I had stayed at the dealer and waited?? No way. When I asked the girl what the hold up was she said it was the detail area, well, I said, the car is only 4 mo old, there isn't much other than a few scuffs and in need of a vaccumme. She took the $45.00 off for the detail, which was nice and the right thing to do because I wouldn't have paid for it anyway with the late hour getting the car back. Then, when I checked the car, there was garbage that was left in the rear seat magazine compartments and well, the inside just wasn't perfect. If I would have paid $ for that detail I would have been upset. I work 21 days in a row, not having my car on one of my few days off was not acceptable to me. More
Was going to Darcars Frederick but their 'policies' changed the first of the year and they seem to be out to set record profits at the expense of established clients. I don't understand why a simple oil change can take 1 hour, when she came with the bill to be paid I read that my car needs tire rotation She did not say that to me, the paper said that I decline the service, that is no right I was never informed that my car needs that. Then she said that my car has been washed, when I got to the car it was not, I came back to her and explain that my car has not been washed She replied "REALLY" are you sure?. Like I am crazy or what the car was not washed, she said ok if you wait 10 minutes we are going to wash the car I said ok. I will wait. But guess what? after the waiting somebody else came to tell me the washer is broken. Is not the first time that I have inconvenient, they send surveys and I answered them, never see improvement. They took the guys who where advisors to replace with girls. I am not a feminist I am a firmer believer that some jobs are for guys Like working with cars Guys know that, and I feel better if I am talking to a guy about my car, not a girl As I said last time my car reach 100.000 miles I think was Teresa who said I need to replace the belt. somebody sais my car do not have a belt. I have been experiencing and intermittent problem with my Prius since purchase in April. Because it's not consistent it's been difficult to diagnose. Recently, when my car wouldn't start, I called the dealership and spoke to Jason. He walked me through some steps to get the car started so that I could drive it to the dealership. He was very helpful and patient with my learning curve. Once in the dealership they ran a diagnostic which didn't show a problem. Jason discussed the options with me and after deciding a course of action the repair was made right then. I appreciate that they did the work that day without an appointment and the final cost was even less than the estimated cost. More

It was too cold for the service department to perform the usual cleanup they give the car when in for service. It would be nice to have a "rain check" for a drive back cleanup when the weather permits. Thi usual cleanup they give the car when in for service. I was driving between Washington and Ohio and appeared to lose power in the mountains west of Hagerstown. Car was towed to Aamco who informed me it wasn't the transmission and made an appt for me with Rhond lose power in the mountains west of Hagerstown. She had an excellent mechanic looking at the car within 5 minutes and found the issue. It could not be fixed to the extent that I felt comfortable driving through the mountains at night. After discussing options she helped arrange a loaner car and I was kept notified of all work and when the car was done. I couldn't have designed a better service transaction than the one I had at Younger. While there I noticed how the entire service adviser team worked together and as a manager, that impressed me greatly as well. More
My wife sat at your dealership for two (2) hours to get the complementary oil change. They also were not able to wash the car after all that due being frozen. I have a 1992 Toyota Celica which has had "dead" trunk lid gas charged lift supp I am giving a thumbs up rating for Younger Toyota's service dept. I have a 1992 Toyota Celica which has had "dead" trunk lid gas charged lift supports for several years. I have finaly gotten around to purchasing a set of these at an automotive parts store. Upon trying to install them I found that the Toyota factory nuts holding the lift supports to the trunk lid had an odd size, neither 10mm,11mm or 12mm.but rather something between 11mm and 12mm.which to my knowledge isn't avail.I had a heck of a time, then decided I didn't want to muscle them off which would have resulted in stripping them, etc. I decided my best alternative,though reluctantly at first, was to take the car to Younger Toyota and see if they could work on it today, as my upcomming schedule will be such that it will again be months before I have time to set aside to tackle this. I drove a couple of mi. over to Younger Toyota,explained the situation to the service advisor and the mechanic and they immediately took it in the shop and worked on it removing and replacing the trunk lid lift supports and charged me a very reasonable labor fee. The total turn around time from when I arrived WITHOUT an appnt. to driving off the lot with repairs done was less than 45 minutes ! I am EXTREMELY satisfied and since I have additional things I need done on this aging yet well maintained car, I will not hesitate to take it to them in the near future.
