I took in my 1988 MR2 to have the cable that opens the trunk replaced. While it was there I asked Jason to have the supercharger fluid changed and to have the whole car checked out. The recommendation was trunk replaced. While it was there I asked Jason to have the supercharger fluid changed and to have the whole car checked out. The recommendation was to have brakes flushed and fluid changed as well as drain and replace the manual transmission fluid. While checking out the rest of the car they found that both of the rear tie rods were bent. All the parts were ordered and installed. After the tie rods were installed they discovered all of the alignment parameters were completly wrong and corrected them. After I picked up the car I still had a problem with the trunk opening. When I took it back Jason personally determined that the lock needed adjustment and fixed it himself. Throughout the entire process (5 business days)Jason kept me updated with the status of the work, the costs, and when it would be completed. I am very satisfied with the work done at Younger Toyota. went in with a flat tire. did not see any problem spots. it was sat. june 5 around 11 1130 tech said he looked at my tire. inflated to 50lbs pressure and ran through water and didn't see any problem spots it was sat. june 5 around 11 1130 tech said he looked at my tire. inflated to 50lbs pressure and ran through water and didn't see any problem spots no leaks. put soap. still no leaks. also requested to have my oil changed. as well. assumed it was done right. went home and went out in my wife's van thank god because came home 4- 5 hours later and tire was flat again. of course toyta was closed. so monday called and told bruce what happened informed me I would have to call bf goodrich about possible warranty issue since they didn't see the problem. went to duncan brothers on dual hwy. in hagerstown watched as the tech inflated tire to 40lbs pressure and placed in water to my surprise when he hit the problem spot bubbles came flying out. and discoved rather a good sized hole in center of tire tread.. Can't believe if the tech did his job at toyota he didn't see this. problem. becuase thank god I didn't take my truck out that saturday afternoon after visiting toyota where I was told it was fine. because I would have been changing a tire on the side of a highway or worse could have blown my tire and had an accident. I think the tech was just in a big hurry due to the time and day of problem and didn't take time to do his job. I don't know if he even changed my oil properly or just put a new sticker on my window. don't know if I could trust toyota for these types of issues again. Not to mention I paid only $18 for duncon brothers to fix the problem toyota wanted $30. More
Below is a copy of a letter we wrote to the owner of Younger Toyota. We have never heard a response. ............. We are writing to you today asking for your help. We brought our Highlander in to you Younger Toyota. We have never heard a response. ............. We are writing to you today asking for your help. We brought our Highlander in to your repair facility at the end of March. We had noticed a rubbing sound in the rear of the vehicle and it was getting progressively worse. Your technician diagnosed the problem as a bad wheel bearing in the left rear wheel. The estimate for the job was about $600. We left the vehicle, and when the work was done, we received a call from your service department, telling us that even though the work was done, the noise was still present. The message left on our answering machine was that the differential was also bad, and that it had transmitted vibrations to the left wheel, making it appear to be the source of the noise. Next we were told that to have the differential replaced would be expensive. A used replacement differential, excluding labor charges, would cost us at least $700. When I called to question why we were being charged for the replacement of the bearings, when it was not the source of the problem, I was told that it needed to be replaced anyway. I asked if I could see the part that was replaced to verify that it was bad. I was told that the part had been discarded. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the fact that the job that was done was not what we needed. We brought our vehicle in to have the noise corrected, and we left your facility with no improvement, we are $630.78 poorer, and we had to pay because your technicians misdiagnosed the problem. Last week we took the Highlander to our local repair shop, and had them take a look at it. We told them that your repair shop had told us that we needed to replace the differential. They called us back to say that the bearings in the right rear wheel were bad, and the differential was fine. They did the work, and we picked it up yesterday. The problem was fixed. My concern is that we took our vehicle to your business, trusting that since you are a Toyota dealer, you would know how to fix Toyotas – better then anybody else. Instead of getting satisfaction, we got taken. If we had followed your technician’s advice, and had the differential replaced, we would have been out an additional $700 (plus labor) and still not had the original problem fixed. Your technician’s incompetence cost us $630.78. I am asking you to refund us the full cost of the unnecessary repair. .................. More

On Thursday, May 28th I took my 2009 Camry into Younger Toyota of Hagerstown for an oil change. I left my car there and took advantage of the free shuttle service to my place of work. I was contacted late Toyota of Hagerstown for an oil change. I left my car there and took advantage of the free shuttle service to my place of work. I was contacted later in the day about some filters that needed replaced and all of my questions were answered. I picked my car up after work and was very satisfied with the friendly and competent service. I even got $10 off using a coupon from my last visit. I love my Camry and this is my second car purchased and serviced at Younger. I plan on buying a third Camry in about 2 years. I am a very satisfied Toyota customer. Ruth Sklencar Boonsboro,MD More

In response to a qiestion I had regarding a particular service item, Mr. Curtis arranged to have my vehicle picked up at my residence(approximately 25 miles from the Younger dealership) and had the servic service item, Mr. Curtis arranged to have my vehicle picked up at my residence(approximately 25 miles from the Younger dealership) and had the service performed at no charge. You can't get a better price than that. Additional unrelated work was performed on my vehicle also at no charge. The vehicle was then returned with no action required on my part. Before the service was performed, I was contacted by the unnamed person above(a female) to schedule for pick up of my vehicle. This person, whose name I did not record, was extremely courteous and accommodating. Her goal was to do whatever was necessary to satisfy me; I had no doubt of that. The same could be said for Mr. Curtis who OK'ed all of the benefits I received. Mr. Neiderer called me in advance of having my vehicle returned to inform me of what had been done and to let me know when it would be returned. All in all, this visit to Younger Toyota could not have been better, as I judge it. I look forward to the next one. Clifford R. Peyton Falling Waters, WV 25419 More

Everything was fine. I had a recall, was told it would take two hours, it did! I was offered a ride home and return, but I brought a book and read. I also had hot chocolate and a donut. My only suggestion is that you put a little table between the chairs to put the wonderful snacks on while you sit down. More
