After the HORRIBLE service I received there and some questionable information, I called Harold Ziegler, and was lucky to have Joe Broekhuizen answer. I told him I wasn't for sure purchasing a Jeep, as I wanted something with three rows. I told him I also had a very specific price point, which, to no fault of his own, Joe wasn't able to find. I had a very specific need, price and timeline to follow. He tried his very best, but I ended up purchasing something from the original dealer in Lansing my family has used for years and years, but Joe did follow up to make I was taken care of. Happy to be wrong I have always thought of extended service warranties as a bet against yourself, and I had no interest on getting one, but my wife insisted. After 6 mo I have always thought of extended service warranties as a bet against yourself, and I had no interest on getting one, but my wife insisted. After 6 months of driving our low mileage 2015 dodge journey the dash started to flicker in and out. This happened 3 days before I needed to drive from Michigan to Ohio with my family of 6 to be the best man in my friends wedding. My other reservation about getting a dealer warranty is having to hold someones feet to the fire to honor a warranty, however, my reservations about dealing with the dealership over the warranty were unwarranted. I called Matt Griffin, the sales associate who sold me the car and let him know what was going on, he referred me to the service desk where they said, "Yup, that is covered by your warranty, can you drop it off tomorrow morning?" Matt, knowing that I had a wedding to go to with my rather large family, got permission to let me use a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country that was on the lot, even though my service contract only guaranteed me "a car" not "a large car capable of moving 6 people, three of whom are in car seats". I was super happy with how this whole process was handled by their team, and in the future, I wont argue with my wife about the warranty. More
