Oil Change diverted to new charge! I went in for a basic oil change, and was told that a mouse had died in the air filter and had rotted away. I was convinced to replace and clean the a I went in for a basic oil change, and was told that a mouse had died in the air filter and had rotted away. I was convinced to replace and clean the air filtration system (about $100) . . and when I left I couldn’t breathe because of the horrible sweet smell. I drove with the windows down and then parked in the driveway with windows open for three days before I could drive it again. I was misled and probably cheated. My wife told me that every time she has taken the car in for an oil change they have tried to convince her to replace the filter and clean the air filtration system, but she was smart enough not to fall for it. I won’t fall for it again! More
