Great service. I had been to Hyundai dealer in Gurnee and not one person spoke to me and walked the sales floor for approximately 10 minutes while 2 people service. Buyer beware Several months ago my daughter and I went to Racine Hyundai to look at a used Hyundai Accent. Turned out it didn't have cruise control so my daughter Several months ago my daughter and I went to Racine Hyundai to look at a used Hyundai Accent. Turned out it didn't have cruise control so my daughter wasn't interested. But then Adrian(the GM)got involved and told us he could have it installed and that sealed the deal. About a month later my daughter was on the highway and the cruise control wouldn't disengage. In other words, she had a runaway car that wouldn't stop. After about 10/15 minutes of weaving in and out of traffic(at 75 mph with no brakes)the cruise suddenly reengaged. Thankfully everything turned out okay but still a very horrifying experience. I instructed her to never turn on the cruise again and we had it removed asap. Now I would have thought that Racine Hyundai would have been apologetic and sympathetic and gone out of their way to appease us. None of the above. The Service Mgr. was downright rude and the GM(Adrian)couldn't have been more arrogant and elusive. It took them 2+ months to get around to finally refunding us. Customer Service? In our case...zilch. Pathetic dealership! More
Racine Hyundai new car purchase I had an okay dealing with Racine Hyundai. It was “okay,” when I first walked in, a salesperson started to help me and then sent me to someone else, s I had an okay dealing with Racine Hyundai. It was “okay,” when I first walked in, a salesperson started to help me and then sent me to someone else, saying his later appt. showed up early. I went in one day and ended up leaving. I called back with questions and they were never answered...I was never contacted. I went back on a Wednesday to get my questions answered. In the end I ended up purchasing a new car, and appreciate the help I received with the financing. However, no-one showed me the features of the car. In fact, when I went back to drop off the last of the paperwork, the salesperson had his bag on the table and his coat on. It was quite obvious to me he was ready to leave, and didn’t want to spend more time with me. He said, “enjoy your new car,” and left. The salespeople there are not “bad,” but they need to learn to treat their customers with a little more respect. I spent $23,000 and I felt like I was in there buying groceries. This also happened the first time I bought a car at Racine Hyundai. Again, they’re not bad, just not great. More

As other dealerships tried to get my business through negotiations I kept thinking how patient and calm Emily was. So after meeting my financial goals and going above and beyond -thank you Scott, I choose Racine Hyundai. Everyone made me feel like I was a family member and even when I asked questions again and again did not display aggravation rather diligence in making sure I understood all-thank you Joe. Having said the above Emily called me to make sure I was assimilating the knowledge of my car in my brain. So when I told her I have a few more challenges with the GPS she invited me to come in and review. Insure agreed upon items put in writing I cannot recommend a dealership that leads a customer to believe one thing and means another. Though we believe we were given a fair price for the vehicle, we both were led to believe that certain items would be included. My mistake was not to demand that certain items be put in writing. Hopefully we won't have any more surprises when we have the hitch installed. More
Waste of three hours We drove to look at a specific auto. Drove it, and was prepared to make an offer.
