Mr. Matti emailed me June 20th @ 11:16 AM. I immediately checked on part availability and ordered the parts Mr. Matti claimed he needed. I emailed an called Mr. Matti to apologize for the concern. I left a message to have him call me and I had not heard back from Mr. Matti until this post of July 16 to DealerRater. Mr. Matti’s email of June 20th stated “I do expect this to be NC (no charge I assume) as the key that was missing was supplied by Ford and should have been with the truck before selling it.” Mr. Matti was correct it should have been in the truck. The email also stated that he would be through Beatrice about July 26th and would like me to arrange to have his truck spare tire carrier fixed. Since I hadn’t had any response at all from Mr. Matti, I ordered the carrier and have had it at the dealership since June 22nd. Mr. Matti has made no call to us at anytime about this concern we have received no communication other than the email of June 20th. I STILL have the parts he demanded of us and am confused as to how he has been able to post to DealerRater but isn’t able to follow-up with his demands made in June. Mr. Matti had called us a couple of days after he bought the truck for a key to the receiver hitch, we informed him we would contact the previous owner for the key and send it to him. He opted not to wait on it and decided to cut the hitch lock with a cutting torch. I am uncertain why he could not call on an issue as expensive as this tire carrier. It is very unfortunate that a cutting torch had to be used on the tire carrier but since he did, we have the new parts here just as he requested in his email. I am sorry for his inconvenience.
