What Others Say

I pitched a car realized in less than 48 hr that there were a few things that needed to be fixed. Reached out to Xander Swartz. I have numerous emails and text saying he would take the car back. I live in Colorado. He lied about making an appointment to get it fixed. I called the place and they told me they never heard of him and there was never an appointment scheduled. He is now trying to charge me .25 per mile and shipping cost but refuses to tell me how much that is. My mom is 83 and lurched this car. She hasn’t make any payments because it was just purchased in December and he still does not give us a date/ time when I car will be picked up. The car needs about $4000 in repairs. Again he said he would pay to get it fixed. I’ll be reporting this to the police, BBB, and anyone else. Definitely an attorney. Do not buy from this fraud. They are not honest or transparent. My mom lurched. BMW that was going to cost her $26,000.

I have tried 5 times over the last nine days to contact Cactus auto. No one will return my calls. Here is the funny part. After being stranded a fourth time (twice with family members) I realized I could not continue with this vehicle. Please do not misunderstand me, I bought a used car, I took my chances, I am the one solely responsible for this decision. I was trying to contact these people to see if they would help me get into something that would meet my needs. After leaving messages for the salesman, service manager and Xander it is clear they have no interest in me as a continued customer. If I could give a rating lower than 1 star I would. Promises were made by the salesman that were not lived up to. After being stranded 3 times and have to be towed away, I tried to talk to the dealer. No one returned my calls. Poor service after the sale. I will never be back to this dealer.

Can’t say enough about Cactus Auto! I’d give them 6 or 7 stars if that was possible. They are one of two Kelley Blue Book (KBB) dealers that come up here in Tucson, when you get a KBB quote online. They gave me exactly the price that KBB quoted me on my 13-year-old Toyota Corolla. It was a seamless, quick process, and I walked away with a check for my car, and they even provided me a ride home. Shout out to Zander who inspected my vehicle, and had a check cut for me in less than 30 minutes. Very impressed with how easy he made the process. No sitting in back rooms and back and forth checking with a mysterious “sales manager”. And no ridiculous lowballing on what was offered by KBB. Also, Vanessa was the one who answers the phone and I met her briefly as well. She’s high energy and seems to have terrific customer service skills. Also met Tommy when I first arrived. Can’t say enough about Cactus Auto and their professionalism, energy and eagerness to treat customers well. Pretty good chance you’ll be treated very well there and be satisfied with the outcome!

I came with low expectations, but left with great expectations. Victor Cortez made me feel very comfortable and did not feel pressured. I was not looking to buy that day, but I ran into a great salesman and thought hey why not. I got a great deal!!! Go see Victor at Catus Auto!! He's kinda cute too! 😜

This is the first time I've considered buying a vehicle located out of state, and I was pretty apprehensive about it, but once I saw the car I'd been hoping to buy, and Cactus salesman Bob Navarro was so helpful, I decided to make the purchase. As my time was really short, I had to drive down to Tucson from Ogden, Utah in one day, make the purchase, and drive back the next. Both Bob and John Ranic were fantastic. Not only was the car everything they said it was, but when I arrived, all the documents were ready and after taking the car for a test-drive, John and I sat down to sign paperwork (by the way, he had been in contact with two Utah credit unions and kept in contact with one for days, finally persuading them to drop the interest rate they offered). Both guys (and every supportive person there who switched the tires on the car I was buying for the one I traded in) were more amazing than any other salespeople I've worked with (and I've purchased many cars from major Toyota dealerships over the past 20 years). I can't say enough good things about these people! Buy your car from them! You're experience will be just as pleasant!

I went there with a specific budget and the salesman, Chris, showed us exactly what was in our budget and didn't try to sell us over. He even helped with an unorthodox payment method and I was able to get the car I needed.
