I purchased a 2024 Volvo XC40 from AGM Auto Sales in November 2025. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage anyone considering a vehicle from this dealership to perform thorough due diligence befor November 2025. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage anyone considering a vehicle from this dealership to perform thorough due diligence before signing any paperwork. After the purchase, I experienced weeks of delays involving the title and registration process. I was repeatedly told that the dealership was still waiting to obtain the title from the previous owner, and temporary extensions were issued while the matter remained unresolved. I later learned that the vehicle had a significant prior accident history. Had I been fully aware of all relevant information concerning the vehicle’s history and warranty situation, I would have evaluated the purchase very differently. Several months after the purchase, the vehicle developed serious mechanical issues, including engine overheating and a non-functioning air conditioning system. The vehicle was inspected by Volvo, and I was left facing substantial repair concerns. Over the following months, I made repeated efforts to work directly with AGM Auto Sales to reach a fair resolution. Unfortunately, despite numerous communications, the matter remains unresolved. My purpose in writing this review is not to attack anyone personally, but to encourage prospective buyers to obtain a Carfax report, carefully review all warranty information, ask detailed questions, and independently verify the vehicle’s history before making a purchase. This review reflects my personal experience and is based on documentation that I have retained throughout this matter. More
I visited AGM Auto Sales on August 16, 2025, to purchase a vehicle. At that time, both parties agreed to a trade-in value of $4,500 for my vehicle, leaving a remaining balance of $3,100 to be financed. This a vehicle. At that time, both parties agreed to a trade-in value of $4,500 for my vehicle, leaving a remaining balance of $3,100 to be financed. This agreement was made with the sales manager. On Monday, August 18, 2025, I was informed that the Purchase & Sale agreement needed to be updated because the trade-in had not been listed. On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m. EST, the dealership contacted me and requested a monetary commitment before providing the proper documentation required by the bank. As of August 20, 2025, the bank was still missing the following documentation from the dealership: Title copy without floorplan watermark (title was being held in floorplan). Buyer’s signature missing on assignment from Herb Chambers to AGM Auto Sales due to floorplan. Verification of how the title was being handled (GSCU, dealer, or runner). Updated Purchase & Sale agreement with the correct lienholder name, “Granite State CU,” depending on whether the dealer or a runner was handling the title. Despite repeated requests from the bank (four or more times), the dealership did not provide the correct documentation. Instead, I was asked by the general manager, Fernando Lins, to provide money via Zelle before paperwork was completed or corrected. This experience was highly unprofessional and raised significant concerns about the dealership’s practices. I am filing this complaint to document the situation and to caution others to carefully review agreements and documentation when dealing with this company. More
